Matthew 25:1"Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. Then shall the kingdom of the heavens be made like to ten virgins that having taken their torches, went forth to meet the bridegroom. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom and the bride.
Matthew 25:2Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. And five of them were prudent and five foolish. And five of them were foolish, and five wise.
Matthew 25:3Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them,They that were foolish took their torches and did not take oil with them; But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them:
Matthew 25:4but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.but the prudent took oil in their vessels with their torches. But the wise took oil in their vessels with the lamps.
Matthew 25:5Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept. Now the bridegroom tarrying, they all grew heavy and slept. And the bridegroom tarrying, they all slumbered and slept.
Matthew 25:6But at midnight there was a cry, 'Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!'But in [the] middle of [the] night there was a cry, Behold, the bridegroom; go forth to meet him.And at midnight there was a cry made: Behold the bridegroom cometh, go ye forth to meet him.
Matthew 25:7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their torches. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
Matthew 25:8The foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'And the foolish said to the prudent, Give us of your oil, for our torches are going out.And the foolish said to the wise: Give us of your oil, for our lamps are gone out.
Matthew 25:9But the wise answered, saying, 'What if there will not be enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.'But the prudent answered saying, [We cannot,] lest it might not suffice for us and for you. Go rather to those that sell, and buy for yourselves. The wise answered, saying: Lest perhaps there be not enough for us and for you, go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
Matthew 25:10While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. But as they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and the [ones that were] ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut. Now whilst they went to buy, the bridegroom came: and they that were ready, went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut.
Matthew 25:11Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us.'Afterwards come also the rest of the virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us;But at last come also the other virgins, saying: Lord, Lord, open to us.
Matthew 25:12But he answered, 'Most assuredly I tell you, I don't know you.'but he answering said, Verily I say unto you, I do not know you.But he answering said: Amen I say to you, I know you not.
Matthew 25:13Watch therefore, for you don't know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.Watch therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour.Watch ye therefore, because you know not the day nor the hour.
Matthew 25:14"For it is like a man, going into another country, who called his own servants, and delivered his goods to them.For [it is] as [if] a man going away out of a country called his own bondmen and delivered to them his substance.For even as a man going into a far country, called his servants, and delivered to them his goods;
Matthew 25:15To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one; to each according to his own ability, and he went on his journey. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his particular ability, and immediately went away out of the country. And to one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to every one according to his proper ability: and immediately he took his journey.
Matthew 25:16Immediately he who received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And he that had received the five talents went and trafficked with them, and made five other talents. And he that had received the five talents, went his way, and traded with the same, and gained other five.
Matthew 25:17In like manner he also who got the two gained another two.In like manner also he that [had received] the two, [he also] gained two others. And in like manner he that had received the two, gained other two.
Matthew 25:18But he who received the one went away and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money. But he that had received the one went and dug in the earth, and hid the money of his lord. But he that had received the one, going his way digged into the earth, and hid his lord's money.
Matthew 25:19Now after a long time the lord of those servants came, and reconciled accounts with them. And after a long time the lord of those bondmen comes and reckons with them. But after a long time the lord of those servants came, and reckoned with them.
Matthew 25:20He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, 'Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents besides them.'And he that had received the five talents came to [him] and brought five other talents, saying, [My] lord, thou deliveredst me five talents; behold, I have gained five other talents besides them. And he that had received the five talents coming, brought other five talents, saying: Lord, thou didst deliver to me five talents, behold I have gained other five over and above.
Matthew 25:21His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'His lord said to him, Well, good and faithful bondman, thou wast faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things: enter into the joy of thy lord. His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant, because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:22He also who got the two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents besides them.'And he also that had received the two talents came to [him] and said, [My] lord, thou deliveredst me two talents; behold, I have gained two other talents besides them. And he also that had received the two talents came and said: Lord, thou deliveredst two talents to me: behold I have gained other two.
Matthew 25:23His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'His lord said to him, Well, good and faithful bondman, thou wast faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant: because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:24He also who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter. And he also that had received the one talent coming to [him] said, [My] lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou hadst not sowed, and gathering from where thou hadst not scattered,But he that had received the one talent, came and said: Lord, I know that thou art a hard man; thou reapest where thou hast not sown, and gatherest where thou hast not strewed.
Matthew 25:25I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have your own.'and being afraid I went away and hid thy talent in the earth; behold, thou hast that which is thine. And being afraid I went and hid thy talent in the earth: behold here thou hast that which is thine.
Matthew 25:26But his lord answered him, 'You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn't sow, and gather where I didn't scatter. And his lord answering said to him, Wicked and slothful bondman, thou knewest that I reap where I had not sowed, and gather from where I had not scattered; And his lord answering, said to him: Wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sow not, and gather where I have not strewed:
Matthew 25:27You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.thou oughtest then to have put my money to the money-changers, and when I came I should have got what is mine with interest.Thou oughtest therefore to have committed my money to the bankers, and at my coming I should have received my own with usury.
Matthew 25:28Take away therefore the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents.Take therefore the talent from him, and give it to him that has the ten talents:Take ye away therefore the talent from him, and give it to him that hath ten talents.
Matthew 25:29For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who has not, even that which he has will be taken away.for to every one that has shall be given, and he shall be in abundance; but from him that has not, that even which he has shall be taken from him.For to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: but from him that hath not, that also which he seemeth to have shall be taken away.
Matthew 25:30Throw out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.'And cast out the useless bondman into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. And the unprofitable servant cast ye out into the exterior darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 25:31"But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then will he sit on the throne of his glory. But when the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit down upon his throne of glory,And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty.
Matthew 25:32Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.and all the nations shall be gathered before him; and he shall separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; And all nations shall be gathered together before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats:
Matthew 25:33He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.and he will set the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on [his] left. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.
Matthew 25:34Then the King will tell them on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; Then shall the King say to those on his right hand, Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from [the] world's foundation:Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Matthew 25:35for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in;for I hungered, and ye gave me to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in:
Matthew 25:36naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me.'naked, and ye clothed me; I was ill, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came to me.Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me.
Matthew 25:37Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? Then shall the righteous answer him saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungering, and nourished thee; or thirsting, and gave thee to drink? Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee; thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Matthew 25:38When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you?and when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in; or naked, and clothed thee? And when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and covered thee?
Matthew 25:39When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?'and when saw we thee ill, or in prison, and came to thee?Or when did we see thee sick or in prison, and came to thee?
Matthew 25:40The King will answer them, 'Most assuredly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'And the King answering shall say to them, Verily, I say to you, Inasmuch as ye have done it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.And the king answering, shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.
Matthew 25:41Then will he say also to them on the left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels; Then shall he say also to those on the left, Go from me, cursed, into eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels.
Matthew 25:42for I was hungry, and you didn't give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink;for I hungered, and ye gave me not to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave me not to drink; For I was hungry, and you gave me not to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me not to drink.
Matthew 25:43I was a stranger, and you didn't take me in; naked, and you didn't clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn't visit me.'I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye did not clothe me; ill, and in prison, and ye did not visit me.I was a stranger, and you took me not in: naked, and you covered me not: sick and in prison, and you did not visit me.
Matthew 25:44Then will they also answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not help you?'Then shall *they* also answer saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or ill, or in prison, and have not ministered to thee? Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee?
Matthew 25:45Then will he answer them, saying, 'Most assuredly I tell you, inasmuch as you didn't do it to one of these least, you didn't do it to me.'Then shall he answer them saying, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye have not done it to one of these least, neither have ye done it to me.Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me.
Matthew 25:46These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."And these shall go away into eternal punishment, and the righteous into life eternal. And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.
