| Matthew 25:1 | "Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. | Then shall the kingdom of the heavens be made like to ten virgins that having taken their torches, went forth to meet the bridegroom. | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom and the bride. |
| Matthew 25:2 | Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. | And five of them were prudent and five foolish. | And five of them were foolish, and five wise. |
| Matthew 25:3 | Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them, | They that were foolish took their torches and did not take oil with them; | But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them: |

You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' | But the prudent answered saying, [We cannot,] lest it might not suffice for us and for you. Go rather to those that sell, and buy for yourselves. | The wise answered, saying: Lest perhaps there be not enough for us and for you, go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. |
| Matthew 25:10 | While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. | But as they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and the [ones that were] ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut. | Now whilst they went to buy, the bridegroom came: and they that were ready, went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut. |
