Jonah 2:1Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh, his God, out of the fish's belly.And Jonah prayed unto Jehovah his God out of the fish's belly;Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,
Jonah 2:2He said, "I called because of my affliction to Yahweh. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice.and he said: I cried by reason of my distress unto Jehovah, and he answered me; Out of the belly of Sheol cried I: thou heardest my voice.And said, I cried by reason of my affliction to the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardst my voice.
Jonah 2:3For you threw me into the depths, In the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me.For thou didst cast me into the depth, into the heart of the seas, And the flood was round about me: All thy breakers and thy billows are gone over me.For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods encompassed me: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
Jonah 2:4I said, 'I have been banished from your sight; Yet I will look again toward your holy temple.'And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes, Yet will I look again toward thy holy temple.Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again towards thy holy temple.
Jonah 2:5The waters surrounded me, Even to the soul. The deep was around me. The weeds were wrapped around my head.The waters encompassed me, to the soul: The deep was round about me, The weeds were wrapped about my head.The waters encompassed me, even to the soul: the depth inclosed me on every side, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
Jonah 2:6I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever: Yet have you brought up my life from the pit, Yahweh my God.I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; The bars of the earth [closed] upon me for ever: But thou hast brought up my life from the pit, O Jehovah my God.I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
Jonah 2:7"When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Yahweh. My prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; And my prayer came in unto thee, Into thy holy temple.When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came to thee, into thy holy temple.
Jonah 2:8Those who regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy.They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
Jonah 2:9But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Yahweh."But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Jonah 2:10Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.And Jehovah commanded the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry [land].And the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
