Matthew 17:1 | After six days, Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves. | And after six days Jesus takes with [him] Peter, and James, and John his brother, and brings them up into a high mountain apart. | And after six days, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them upon a high mountain apart. |

Matthew 17:5 | While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 17:10 | His disciples asked him, saying, "Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first? | And [his] disciples demanded of him saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first have come? | And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes, that Elijah must first come? |
Matthew 17:11 | Jesus answered them, "Elijah indeed comes first, and will restore all things, | And he answering said to them, Elias indeed comes first and will restore all things. | And Jesus answered and said to them, Elijah truly will first come, and restore all things: |
Matthew 17:12 | but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they didn't recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so will the Son of Man also suffer by them." | But I say unto you that Elias has already come, and they have not known him, but have done unto him whatever they would. Thus also the Son of man is about to suffer from them. | But I say to you, that Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done to him whatever they pleased: likewise will also the Son of man suffer by them. |

Matthew 17:17 | Jesus answered, "Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Matthew 17:18 | Jesus rebuked him, the demon went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour. | And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon went out from him, and the boy was healed from that hour. | And Jesus rebuked the demon, and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. |
Matthew 17:19 | Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, "Why couldn't we cast it out?" | Then the disciples, coming to Jesus apart, said [to him], Why were not *we* able to cast him out? | Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? |
Matthew 17:20 | He said to them, "Because of your unbelief. For most assuredly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. | And he says to them, Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard [seed], ye shall say to this mountain, Be transported hence there, and it shall transport itself; and nothing shall be impossible to you. | And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say to you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard-seed, ye shall say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you. |
Matthew 17:21 | But this kind doesn't go out except by prayer and fasting." | But this kind does not go out but by prayer and fasting. | However, this kind goeth not out, but by prayer and fasting. |
Matthew 17:22 | While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men, | And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man is about to be delivered up into [the] hands of men, | And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man will be betrayed into the hands of men: |

Matthew 17:25 | He said, "Yes." When he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tribute? From their sons, or from strangers?" | He says, Yes. And when he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, What dost thou think, Simon? the kings of the earth, from whom do they receive custom or tribute? from their own sons or from strangers? | He saith, Yes. And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? from whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? from their own children, or from strangers? |
Matthew 17:26 | Peter said to him, "From strangers." Jesus said to him, "Therefore the sons are exempt. | Peter says to him, From strangers. Jesus said to him, Then are the sons free. | Peter saith to him, From strangers. Jesus saith to him, Then are the children free. |
Matthew 17:27 | But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the first fish that comes up. When you have opened his mouth, you will find a stater. Take that, and give it to them for me and you." | But that we may not be an offence to them, go to the sea and cast a hook, and take the first fish that comes up, and when thou hast opened its mouth thou wilt find a stater; take that and give it to them for me and thee. | Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take the fish that first cometh up: and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: take that, and give to them for me and thee. |
