| Matthew 15:1 | Then Pharisees and scribes come to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying, | Then the scribes and Pharisees from Jerusalem come up to Jesus, saying, | Then there came to Jesus a party of Pharisees and Scribes from Jerusalem, who inquired, |
| Matthew 15:2 | "Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don't wash their hands when they eat bread." | Why do thy disciples transgress what has been delivered by the ancients? for they do not wash their hands when they eat bread. | "Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the Elders by not washing their hands before meals?" |
| Matthew 15:3 | He answered them, "Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition? | But he answering said to them, Why do *ye* also transgress the commandment of God on account of your traditional teaching? | "Why do you, too," He retorted, "transgress God's commands for the sake of your tradition? |

| Matthew 15:27 | But she said, "Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." | But she said, Yea, Lord; for even the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from the table of their masters. | "Be it so, Sir," she said, "for even the dogs eat the scraps which fall from their masters' tables." |
| Matthew 15:28 | Then Jesus answered her, "Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that hour. | Then Jesus answering said to her, O woman, thy faith [is] great. Be it to thee as thou desirest. And her daughter was healed from *that* hour. | "O woman," replied Jesus, "great is your faith: be it done to you as you desire." And from that moment her daughter was restored to health. |

He healed them, | and great crowds came to him, having with them lame, blind, dumb, crippled, and many others, and they cast them at his feet, and he healed them: | Soon great crowds came to Him, bringing with them those who were crippled in feet or hands, blind or dumb, and many besides, and they hastened to lay them at His feet. And He cured them, |
