| Daniel 12:1 | "At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book. | But at that time shall Michael rise up, the great prince, who standeth for the children of thy people: and a time shall come such as never was from the time that nations began even until that time. And at that time shall thy people be saved, every one that shall be found written in the book. | And at that time Michael will take up his place, the great angel, who is the supporter of the children of your people: and there will be a time of trouble, such as there never was from the time there was a nation even till that same time: and at that time your people will be kept safe, everyone who is recorded in the book. |
| Daniel 12:2 | Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. | And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth, shall awake: some unto life everlasting, and others unto reproach, to see it always. | And a number of those who are sleeping in the dust of the earth will come out of their sleep, some to eternal life and some to eternal shame. |
| Daniel 12:3 | Those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse; and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. | But they that are learned shall shine as the brightness of the firmament: and they that instruct many to justice, as stars for all eternity. | And those who are wise will be shining like the light of the outstretched sky; and those by whom numbers have been turned to righteousness will be like the stars for ever and ever. |
| Daniel 12:4 | But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run back and forth, and knowledge shall be increased." | But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time appointed: many shall pass over, and knowledge shall be manifold. | But as for you, O Daniel, let the words be kept secret and the book rolled up and kept shut till the time of the end: numbers will be going out of the way and troubles will be increased. |
| Daniel 12:5 | Then I, Daniel, looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on the brink of the river on this side, and the other on the brink of the river on that side. | And I Daniel looked, and behold as it were two others stood: one on this side upon the bank of the river, and another on that side, on the other bank of the river. | Then I, Daniel, looking, saw two others, one at the edge of the river on this side and one at the edge of the river on that side. |
| Daniel 12:6 | One said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? | And I said to the man that was clothed In linen, that stood upon the waters of the river: How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? | And I said to the man clothed in linen, who was over the waters of the river, How long will it be to the end of these wonders? |
| Daniel 12:7 | I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. | And I heard the man that was clothed in linen, that stood upon the waters of the river: when he had lifted up his right hand, and his left hand to heaven, and had sworn, by him that liveth for ever, that it should be unto a time, and times, and half a time. And when the scattering of the band of the holy people shall be accomplished, all these things shall be finished. | Then in my hearing the man clothed in linen, who was over the river, lifting up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, took an oath by him who is living for ever that it would be a time, times, and a half; and when the power of the crusher of the holy people comes to an end, all these things will be ended. |
| Daniel 12:8 | I heard, but I didn't understand: then said I, my lord, what shall be the issue of these things? | And I heard, and understood not. And I said: O my lord, what shall be after these things? | And the words came to my ears, but the sense of them was not clear to me: then I said, O my lord, what is the sense of these things? |
| Daniel 12:9 | He said, Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. | And he said: Go, Daniel, because the words are shut up, and sealed until the appointed time. | And he said, Go on your way, Daniel: for the words are secret and shut up till the time of the end; |
| Daniel 12:10 | Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand. | Many shall be chosen, and made white, and shall be tried as fire: and the wicked shall deal wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the learned shall understand. | Till a number are tested and make themselves clean; and the evil-doers will do evil; for not one of the evil-doers will have knowledge; but all will be made clear to those who are wise. |
| Daniel 12:11 | From the time that the continual [burnt offering] shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred ninety days. | And from the time when the continual sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination unto desolation shall be set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days, | And from the time when the regular burned offering is taken away, and an unclean thing causing fear is put up, there will be a thousand, two hundred and ninety days. |
| Daniel 12:12 | Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days. | Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh unto a thousand three hundred thirty-five days. | A blessing will be on the man who goes on waiting, and comes to the thousand, three hundred and thirty-five days. |
| Daniel 12:13 | But go you your way until the end be; for you shall rest, and shall stand in your lot, at the end of the days. | But go thou thy ways until the time appointed: and thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot unto the end of the days. | But you, go on your way and take your rest: for you will be in your place at the end of the days. |
