| Genesis 45:1 | Then Joseph couldn't control himself before all those who stood before him, and he cried, "Cause every man to go out from me!" There stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known to his brothers. | Joseph could no longer refrain himself before many that stood by: whereupon he commanded that all should go out, and no stranger be present at their knowing one another. | Then Joseph, unable to keep back his feelings before those who were with him, gave orders for everyone to be sent away, and no one was present when he made clear to his brothers who he was. |
| Genesis 45:2 | He wept aloud. The Egyptians heard, and the house of Pharaoh heard. | And he lifted up his voice with weeping, which the Egyptians and all the house of Pharao heard. \ | And so loud was his weeping, that it came to the ears of the Egyptians and all Pharaoh's house. |
| Genesis 45:3 | Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph! Does my father still live?" | Genesis 45:5 | Now don't be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life. | Be not afraid, and let it not seem to you a hard case that you sold me into these countries: for God sent me before you into Egypt for your preservation. | Now do not be troubled or angry with yourselves for sending me away, because God sent me before you to be the saviour of your lives. |
| Genesis 45:6 | For these two years has the famine been in the land, and there are yet five years, in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest. | For it is two years since the famine began to be upon the land, and five years more remain, wherein there can be neither ploughing nor reaping. | For these two years have been years of need, and there are still five more years to come in which there will be no ploughing or cutting of grain. |
| Genesis 45:7 | God sent me before you to preserve you a remnant in the earth, and to save you alive by a great deliverance. | And God sent me before, that you may be preserved upon the earth, and may have food to live. | God sent me before you to keep you and yours living on earth so that you might become a great nation. |

| Genesis 45:18 | Take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.' | And bring away from thence your father and kindred, and come to me: and I will give you all the good things of Egypt, that you may eat the marrow of the land. | And get your father and your families and come back to me: and I will give you all the good things of Egypt, and the fat of the land will be your food. |
