| Exodus 38:1 | He made the altar of burnt offering of acacia wood. It was square. Its length was five cubits, its breadth was five cubits, and its height was three cubits. | He made also the altar of holocaust of setim wood, five cubits square, and three in height: | And he made the altar of burnt-offering of acacia-wood; five cubits the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof, square, and three cubits the height thereof. |
| Exodus 38:2 | He made its horns on its four corners. Its horns were of one piece with it, and he overlaid it with brass. | The horns whereof went out from the corners, and he overlaid it with plates of brass. | And he made its horns on the four corners thereof; its horns were of itself; and he overlaid it with copper. |

| Exodus 38:7 | He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar, with which to carry it. He made it hollow with planks. | And he drew them through the rings that stood out in the sides of the altar. And the altar itself was not solid, but hollow, of boards, and empty within. | And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, with which to carry it. Hollow with boards did he make it. |
