Luke 13:1Now there were some present at the same time who told him about the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.And there were present, at that very time, some that told him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.Now at the same time there were present some who told him of the Galileans whose blood Pilate mingled with [that of] their sacrifices.
Luke 13:2Jesus answered them, "Do you think that these Galilaeans were worse sinners than all the other Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?And he answering, said to them: Think you that these Galileans were sinners above all the men of Galilee, because they suffered such things?And he answering said to them, Think ye that these Galileans were sinners beyond all the Galileans because they suffered such things?
Luke 13:3I tell you, no, but, unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all likewise perish.No, I say to you, but if ye repent not, ye shall all perish in the same manner.
Luke 13:4Or those eighteen, on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them; do you think that they were worse offenders than all the men who dwell in Jerusalem?Or those eighteen upon whom the tower fell in Siloe, and slew them: think you, that they also were debtors above all the men that dwelt in Jerusalem?Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, think ye that *they* were debtors beyond all the men who dwell in Jerusalem?
Luke 13:5I tell you, no, but, unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way."No, I say to you; but except you do penance, you shall all likewise perish.No, I say to you, but if ye repent not, ye shall all perish in like manner.
Luke 13:6He spoke this parable. "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.He spoke also this parable: A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.And he spoke this parable: A certain [man] had a fig-tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit upon it and did not find [any].
Luke 13:7He said to the vine dresser, 'Behold, these three years I came seeking fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down. Why does it waste the soil?'And he said to the dresser of the vineyard: Behold, for these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it done therefore: why cumbereth it the ground?And he said to the vinedresser, Behold, [these] three years I come seeking fruit on this fig-tree and find none: cut it down; why does it also render the ground useless?
Luke 13:8He answered, 'Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it, and fertilize it.But he answering, said to him: Lord, let it alone this year also, until I dig about it, and dung it.But he answering says to him, Sir, let it alone for this year also, until I shall dig about it and put dung,
Luke 13:9If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.'"And if happily it bear fruit: but if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.and if it shall bear fruit but if not, after that thou shalt cut it down.
Luke 13:10He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day.And he was teaching in their synagogue on their sabbath.And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
Luke 13:11Behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and she was bent over, and could in no way lift herself up.And behold there was a woman, who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years: and she was bowed together, neither could she look upwards at all.And lo, [there was] a woman having a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and she was bent together and wholly unable to lift her head up.
Luke 13:12When Jesus saw her, he called her, and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your infirmity."Whom when Jesus saw, he called her unto him, and said to her: Woman, thou art delivered from thy infirmity.And Jesus, seeing her, called to [her], and said to her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
Luke 13:13He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight, and glorified God.And he laid his hands upon her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.And he laid his hands upon her; and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
Luke 13:14The ruler of the synagogue, being moved with indignation because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, answered to the multitude, "There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!"And the ruler of the synagogue (being angry that Jesus had healed on the sabbath) answering, said to the multitude: Six days there are wherein you ought to work. In them therefore come, and be healed; and not on the sabbath day.But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus healed on the sabbath, answering said to the crowd, There are six days in which [people] ought to work; in these therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
Luke 13:15Therefore the Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Doesn't each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and lead him away to water?And the Lord answering him, said: Ye hypocrites, doth not every one of you, on the sabbath day, loose his ox or his ass from the manger, and lead them to water?The Lord therefore answered him and said, Hypocrites! does not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the manger and leading [it] away, water [it]?
Luke 13:16Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, to have been freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?"And ought not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?And this [woman], who is a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, lo, [these] eighteen years, ought she not to be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
Luke 13:17As he said these things, all his adversaries were put to shame, and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.And when he said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the things that were gloriously done by him.And as he said these things, all who were opposed to him were ashamed; and all the crowd rejoiced at all the glorious things which were being done by him.
Luke 13:18He said, "To what is the kingdom of God like? To what shall I compare it?He said therefore: To what is the kingdom of God like, and whereunto shall I resemble it?And he said, To what is the kingdom of God like? and to what shall I liken it?

Luke 13:20Again he said, "What shall I compare to the kingdom of God?And again he said: Whereunto shall I esteem the kingdom of God to be like?And again he said, To what shall I liken the kingdom of God?

Luke 13:23One said to him, "Lord, are they few who are saved?" He said to them,And a certain man said to him: Lord, are they few that are saved? But he said to them:And one said to him, Sir, [are] such as are to be saved few in number? But he said unto them,
Luke 13:24"Strive to enter in by the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able.Strive to enter by the narrow gate; for many, I say to you, shall seek to enter, and shall not be able.Strive with earnestness to enter in through the narrow door, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in and will not be able.
Luke 13:25When once the master of the house has risen up, and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' then he will answer and tell you, 'I don't know you or where you come from.'But when the master of the house shall be gone in, and shall shut the door, you shall begin to stand without, and knock at the door, saying: Lord, open to us. And he answering, shall say to you: I know you not, whence you are.From the time that the master of the house shall have risen up and shall have shut the door, and ye shall begin to stand without and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he answering shall say to you, I know you not whence ye are:
Luke 13:26Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drink in your presence, and you taught in our streets.'Then you shall begin to say: We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten in thy presence and drunk, and thou hast taught in our streets;
Luke 13:27He will say, 'I tell you, I don't know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.'And he shall say to you: I know you not, whence you are: depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.and he shall say, I tell you, I do not know you whence ye are; depart from me, all [ye] workers of iniquity.
Luke 13:28There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and yourselves being thrown outside.There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.There shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves cast out.
Luke 13:29They will come from the east, west, north, and south, and will sit down in the kingdom of God.And there shall come from the east and the west, and the north and the south; and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.And they shall come from east and west, and from north and south, and shall lie down at table in the kingdom of God.
Luke 13:30Behold, there are some who are last who will be first, and there are some who are first who will be last."And behold, they are last that shall be first; and they are first that shall be last.And behold, there are last who shall be first, and there are first who shall be last.
Luke 13:31On that same day, some Pharisees came, saying to him, "Get out of here, and go away, for Herod wants to kill you."The same day, there came some of the Pharisees, saying to him: Depart, and get thee hence, for Herod hath a mind to kill thee.The same hour certain Pharisees came up, saying to him, Get out, and go hence, for Herod is desirous to kill thee.
Luke 13:32He said to them, "Go and tell that fox, 'Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.And he said to them: Go and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I am consummated.And he said to them, Go, tell that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and accomplish cures to-day and to-morrow, and the third [day] I am perfected;
Luke 13:33Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, for it can't be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.'Nevertheless I must walk to day and to morrow, and the day following, because it cannot be that a prophet perish, out of Jerusalem.but I must needs walk to-day and to-morrow and the [day] following, for it must not be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
Luke 13:34"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and you refused!Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent to thee, how often would I have gathered thy children as the bird doth her brood under her wings, and thou wouldest not?Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the [city] that kills the prophets and stones those that are sent unto her, how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen her brood under her wings, and ye would not.
Luke 13:35Behold, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me, until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!'"Behold your house shall be left to you desolate. And I say to you, that you shall not see me till the time come, when you shall say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.Behold, your house is left unto you; and I say unto you, that ye shall not see me until it come that ye say, Blessed [is] he that comes in the name of [the] Lord.
