| Matthew 15:1 | Then Pharisees and scribes come to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying, | Then came to him from Jerusalem scribes and Pharisees, saying: | Then the scribes and Pharisees from Jerusalem come up to Jesus, saying, |
| Matthew 15:2 | "Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don't wash their hands when they eat bread." | Why do thy disciples trangress the tradition of the ancients? For they wash not their hands when they eat bread. | Why do thy disciples transgress what has been delivered by the ancients? for they do not wash their hands when they eat bread. |
| Matthew 15:3 | He answered them, "Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition? | But he answering, said to them: Why do you also transgress the commandment of God for your tradition? For God said: | But he answering said to them, Why do *ye* also transgress the commandment of God on account of your traditional teaching? |
| Matthew 15:4 | For God commanded, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.' | Honour thy father and mother: And: He that shall curse father or mother, let him die the death. | For God commanded saying, Honour father and mother; and, He that speaks ill of father or mother, let him die the death. |
| Matthew 15:5 | But you say, 'Whoever will tell his father or his mother, "Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God," | But you say: Whosoever shall say to father or mother, The gift whatsoever proceedeth from me, shall profit thee. | But *ye* say, Whosoever shall say to his father or mother, It is a gift, whatsoever [it be] by which [received] from me thou wouldest be profited: |

You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition. | And he shall not honour his father or his mother: and you have made void the commandment of God for your tradition. | and he shall in no wise honour his father or his mother; and ye have made void the commandment of God on account of your traditional teaching. |

| Matthew 15:9 | But in vain do they worship me, Teaching as doctrine rules made by men.'" | And in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men. | but in vain do they worship me, teaching [as] teachings commandments of men. |

My daughter is grievously vexed with a demon." | And behold a woman of Canaan who came out of those coasts, crying out, said to him: Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David: my daughter is grieviously troubled by the devil. | and lo, a Canaanitish woman, coming out from those borders, cried [to him] saying, Have pity on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is miserably possessed by a demon. |

And his disciples came and besought him, saying: Send her away, for she crieth after us: | But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came to [him] and asked him, saying, Dismiss her, for she cries after us. |
| Matthew 15:24 | But he answered, "I wasn't sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel." | And he answering, said: I was not sent but to the sheep that are lost of the house of Israel. | But he answering said, I have not been sent save to the lost sheep of Israel's house. |

| Matthew 15:26 | But he answered, "It is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." | Who answering, said: It is not good to take the bread of the children, and to cast it to the dogs. | But he answering said, It is not well to take the bread of the children and cast it to the dogs. |
| Matthew 15:27 | But she said, "Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." | But she said: Yea, Lord; for the whelps also eat of the crumbs that fall from the table of their masters. | But she said, Yea, Lord; for even the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from the table of their masters. |
| Matthew 15:28 | Then Jesus answered her, "Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that hour. | Then Jesus answering, said to her: O woman, great is thy faith: be it done to thee as thou wilt: and her daughter was cured from that hour. | Then Jesus answering said to her, O woman, thy faith [is] great.
