Genesis 45:1 | Then Joseph couldn't control himself before all those who stood before him, and he cried, "Cause every man to go out from me!" There stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known to his brothers. | Joseph could no longer refrain himself before many that stood by: whereupon he commanded that all should go out, and no stranger be present at their knowing one another. | Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren. |
Genesis 45:2 | He wept aloud. The Egyptians heard, and the house of Pharaoh heard. | And he lifted up his voice with weeping, which the Egyptians and all the house of Pharao heard. \ | And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard. |
Genesis 45:3 | Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph! Does my father still live?" His brothers couldn't answer him; for they were terrified at his presence. | And he said to his brethren: I am Joseph: is my father yet living? His brethren could no answer him, being struck with exceeding great fear. | And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? Genesis 45:4 | Joseph said to his brothers, "Come near to me, please." They came near. "He said, I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. | And he said mildly to them: Come nearer to me. And when they were come near him, he said: I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. | And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. |
Genesis 45:5 | Now don't be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life. | Be not afraid, and let it not seem to you a hard case that you sold me into these countries: for God sent me before you into Egypt for your preservation. | Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. |
Genesis 45:6 | For these two years has the famine been in the land, and there are yet five years, in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest. | For it is two years since the famine began to be upon the land, and five years more remain, wherein there can be neither ploughing nor reaping. | For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. |
Genesis 45:7 | God sent me before you to preserve you a remnant in the earth, and to save you alive by a great deliverance. | And God sent me before, that you may be preserved upon the earth, and may have food to live. | And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. |

Genesis 45:13 | You shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen. Genesis 45:19 | Now you are commanded: do this.
