Mark 7:2Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is, unwashed, hands, they found fault. And when they had seen some of his disciples eat bread with common, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault. And when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled (that is to say with unwashed) hands, they found fault.
Mark 7:3(For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, don't eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the tradition of the elders. For the Pharisees, and all the Jews eat not without often washing their hands, holding the tradition of the ancients:For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands often eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
Mark 7:4They don't eat when they come from the marketplace, unless they bathe themselves, and there are many other things, which they have received to hold to: washings of cups, pitchers, bronze vessels, and couches.)And when they come from the market, unless they be washed, they eat not: and many other things there are that have been delivered to them to observe, the washings of cups and of pots, and of brazen vessels, and of beds. And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there are, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, and of brazen vessels, and tables.
Mark 7:5The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, "Why don't your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?"And the Pharisees and scribes asked him: Why do not thy disciples walk according to the tradition of the ancients, but they eat bread with common hands? Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?
Mark 7:6He answered them, "Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, 'This people honors me with their lips, But their heart is far from me.But he answering, said to them: Well did Isaias prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.He answered and said to them, Well hath Isaiah prophesied concerning you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Mark 7:7But in vain do they worship me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'And in vain to they worship me, teaching doctrines and precepts of men. But, in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Mark 7:8"For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things."For leaving the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, the washing of pots and of cups: and many other things you do like to these. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Mark 7:9He said to them, "Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. And he said to them: Well do you make void the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition. And he said to them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition,
Mark 7:10For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother;' and, 'He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'For Moses said: Honor thy father and thy mother; and He that shall curse father or mother, dying let him die.For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother; and, Whoever curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
Mark 7:11But you say, 'If a man will tell his father or his mother, "Whatever you might have been profited by me is Corban, that is to say, given to God;"'But you say: If a man shall say to his father or mother, Corban, (which is a gift,) whatsoever is from me, shall profit thee. But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
Mark 7:12and you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,And further you suffer him not to do any thing for his father or mother,And ye suffer him no more to do aught for his father or his mother;
Mark 7:13making void the word of God by your tradition, which you have handed down. You do many things like this."Making void the word of God by your own tradition, which you have given forth. And many other such like things you do.Making the word of God of no effect through your traditions, which ye have delivered: and many such like things ye do.
Mark 7:14He called all the multitude to himself, and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand. And calling again the multitude unto him, he said to them: Hear ye me all, and understand. And when he had called all the people to him, he said to them, Hearken to me every one of you, and understand.
Mark 7:15There is nothing from outside of the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man. There is nothing from without a man that entering into him, can defile him. But the things which come from a man, those are they that defile a man. There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him, can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

Mark 7:18He said to them, "Are you so without understanding also? Don't you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can't defile him,And he saith to them: So are you also without knowledge? understand you not that every thing from without, entering into a man cannot defile him:And he saith to them, Are ye so void of understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him.
Mark 7:19because it doesn't go into his heart, but into his belly, and into the latrine, thus making all foods clean?"Because it entereth not into his heart, but goeth into the belly, and goeth out into the privy, purging all meats?Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all kinds of food.
Mark 7:20He said, "That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.But he said that the things which come out from a man, they defile a man.And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
Mark 7:21For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,For from within out of the heart of men proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

And she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.(The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation,) and she besought him that he would cast forth the demon out of her daughter.
Mark 7:27But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."Who said to her: Suffer first the children to be filled: for it is not good to take the bread of the children, and cast it to the dogs. But Jesus said to her, Let the children first be satisfied: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to the dogs.
Mark 7:28But she answered him, "Yes, Lord. For even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."But she answered and said to him: Yea, Lord; for the whelps also eat under the table of the crumbs of the children. And she answered and said to him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crums.
Mark 7:29He said to her, "For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter."And he said to her: For this saying go thy way, the devil is gone out of thy daughter. And he said to her, For this saying, depart; the demon is gone out of thy daughter.
Mark 7:30She went away to her house, and found the child laying on the bed, with the demon gone out.And when she was come into her house, she found the girl lying upon the bed, and that the devil was gone out.And when she had come to her house, she found the demon had gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

Mark 7:35Immediately his ears were opened, and the bond of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke clearly. And immediately his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke right. And immediately his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plain.
