| Deuteronomy 15:1 | At the end of every seven years you shall make a release. | In the seventh year thou shalt make a remission, | |
| Deuteronomy 15:2 | This is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release that which he has lent to his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother; because Yahweh's release has been proclaimed. | Which shall be celebrated in this order. He to whom any thing is owing from his friend or neighbour or brother, cannot demand it again, because it is the year of remission of the Lord, | |
| Deuteronomy 15:3 | Of a foreigner you may exact it: but whatever of your is with your brother your hand shall release. | Of the foreigner or stranger thou mayst exact it: of thy countryman and neighbour thou shalt not have power to demand it again. | |
| Deuteronomy 15:4 | However there shall be no poor with you; (for Yahweh will surely bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it;) | And there shall be no poor nor beggar among you: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in the land which he will give thee in possession. | |
| Deuteronomy 15:5 | if only you diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, to observe to do all this commandment which I command you this day. | Yet so if thou hear the voice of the Lord thy God, and keep all things that he hath ordained, and which I command thee this day, he will bless thee, as he hath promised. | |

| Deuteronomy 15:8 | but you shall surely open your hand to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need [in that] which he wants. | But shalt open it to the poor man, thou shalt lend him, that which thou perceivest he hath need of. | |
| Deuteronomy 15:9 | Beware that there not be a base thought in your heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and your eye be evil against your poor brother, and you give him nothing; and he cry to Yahweh against you, and it be sin to you. | Beware lest perhaps a wicked thought steal in upon thee, and thou say in thy heart: The seventh year of remission draweth nigh; and thou turn away thy eyes from thy poor brother, denying to lend him that which he asketh: lest he cry against thee to the Lord, and it become a sin unto thee. | |
| Deuteronomy 15:10 | You shall surely give him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him; because that for this thing Yahweh your God will bless you in all your work, and in all that you put your hand to. | But thou shalt give to him: neither shalt thou do any thing craftily in relieving his necessities: that the Lord thy God may bless thee at all times, and in all things to which thou shalt put thy hand. | |

| Deuteronomy 15:19 | All the firstborn males that are born of your herd and of your flock you shall sanctify to Yahweh your God: you shall do no work with the firstborn of your herd, nor shear the firstborn of your flock. | Of the firstlings, that come of thy herds and thy sheep, thou shalt sanctify to the Lord thy God whatsoever is of the male sex. Thou shalt not work with the firstling of a bullock, and thou shalt not shear the firstlings of thy sheep. | |
| Deuteronomy 15:20 | You shall eat it before Yahweh your God year by year in the place which Yahweh shall choose, you and your household. | In the sight of the Lord thy God shalt thou eat them every year, in the place that the Lord shall choose, thou and thy house. | |
| Deuteronomy 15:21 | If it have any blemish, [as if it be] lame or blind, any ill blemish whatever, you shall not sacrifice it to Yahweh your God. | But if it have a blemish, or be lame, or blind, or in any part disfigured or feeble, it shall not be sacrificed to the Lord thy God. | |
| Deuteronomy 15:22 | You shall eat it within your gates: the unclean and the clean [shall eat it] alike, as the gazelle, and as the hart. | But thou shalt eat it within the gates of thy city: the clean and the unclean shall eat them alike, as the roe and as the hart. | |
