Every tree therefore that doesn't bring forth good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire." | For now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that bringeth not forth good fruit, shall be cut down and cast into the fire. | and already also the axe unto the root of the trees is laid, every tree, therefore, not making good fruit is cut down, and to fire it is cast.` |

He who has food, let him do likewise." | And he answering, said to them: He that hath two coats, let him give to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do in like manner. | and he answering saith to them, `He having two coats let him impart to him having none, and he having victuals in like manner let him do.` |

| Luke 3:14 | Soldiers also asked him, saying, "What about us? What must we do?" He said to them, "Extort from no one by violence, neither accuse anyone wrongfully. Be content with your wages." | And the soldiers also asked him, saying: And what shall we do? And he said to them: Do violence to no man; neither calumniate any man; and be content with your pay. | And questioning him also were those warring, saying, `And we, what shall we do?` and he said unto them, `Do violence to no one, nor accuse falsely, and be content with your wages.` |
