Luke 16:1 | He said also to his disciples, "There was a certain rich man, who had a manager. The same was accused to him of wasting his possessions. | And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. | And he said also to his disciples: There was a certain rich man who had a steward: and the same was accused unto him, that he had wasted his goods. |
Luke 16:2 | He called him, and said to him, 'What is this that I hear about you? Give an accounting of your management, for you can no longer be manager.' | And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. | And he called him, and said to him: How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship: for now thou canst be steward no longer. |
