Romans 15:1Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves. We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Now we that are stronger, ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
Romans 15:2Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. Let every one of you please his neighbour unto good, to edification.
Romans 15:3For Christ also didn't please himself. But, as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me."For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written: The reproaches of them that reproached thee, fell upon me.
Romans 15:4For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. For what things soever were written, were written for our learning: that through patience and the comfort of the scriptures, we might have hope.
Romans 15:5Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus,Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of one mind one towards another, according to Jesus Christ:
Romans 15:6that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. That with one mind, and with one mouth, you may glorify God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:7Therefore receive one another, even as Christ also received you, to the glory of God.Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. Wherefore receive one another, as Christ also hath received you unto the honour of God.
Romans 15:8Now I say that Christ has been made a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers,Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: For I say that Christ Jesus was minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.
Romans 15:9and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, "Therefore will I give praise to you among the Gentiles, And sing to your name."And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name. But that the Gentiles are to glorify God for his mercy, as it is written: Therefore will I confess to thee, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and will sing to thy name.
Romans 15:10Again he says, "Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people."And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. And again he saith: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
Romans 15:11Again, "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Let all the peoples praise him."And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people. And again: Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and magnify him, all ye people.
Romans 15:12Again, Isaiah says, "There will be the root of Jesse, He who arises to rule over the Gentiles; On him will the Gentiles hope."And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. And again Isaias saith: There shall be a root of Jesse; and he that shall rise up to rule the Gentiles, in him the Gentiles shall hope.
Romans 15:13Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing; that you may abound in hope, and in the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:14I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others. And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. And I myself also, my brethren, am assured of you, that you also are full of love, replenished with all knowledge, so that you are able to admonish one another.
Romans 15:15But I write the more boldly to you in some measure, as putting you again in memory, because of the grace that was given to me by God,Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, But I have written to you, brethren, more boldly in some sort, as it were putting you in mind: because of the grace which is given me from God.
Romans 15:16that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. That I should be the minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles; sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:17I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God. I have therefore glory in Christ Jesus towards God.
Romans 15:18For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, For I dare not to speak of any of those things which Christ worketh not by me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,
Romans 15:19in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God's Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ;Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. By the virtue of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Ghost, so that from Jerusalem round about as far as unto Illyricum, I have replenished the gospel of Christ.
Romans 15:20yes, making it my aim so to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build on another man's foundation.Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation: And I have so preached this gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation.
Romans 15:21But, as it is written, "They will see, to whom no news of him came. They who haven't heard will understand."But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand. But as it is written: They to whom he was not spoken of, shall see, and they that have not heard shall understand.
Romans 15:22Therefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you,For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you. For which cause also I was hindered very much from coming to you, and have been kept away till now.
Romans 15:23but now, no longer having any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come to you,But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you; But now having no more place in these countries, and having a great desire these many years past to come unto you,
Romans 15:24whenever I journey to Spain, I will come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while.Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company. When I shall begin to take my journey into Spain, I hope that as I pass, I shall see you, and be brought on my way thither by you, if first, in part, I shall have enjoyed you:
Romans 15:25But now, I say, I am going to Jerusalem, serving the saints. But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. But now I shall go to Jerusalem, to minister unto the saints.
Romans 15:26For it has been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are at Jerusalem. For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a contribution for the poor of the saints that are in Jerusalem.
Romans 15:27Yes, it has been their good pleasure, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to serve them in fleshly things. It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. For it hath pleased them; and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they ought also in carnal things to minister to them.
Romans 15:28When therefore I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by you to Spain. When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain. When therefore I shall have accomplished this, and consigned to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.
Romans 15:29I know that, when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ. And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ. And I know, that when I come to you, I shall come in the abundance of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
Romans 15:30Now I beg you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me,Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; I beseech you therefore, brethren, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the charity of the Holy Ghost, that you help me in your prayers for me to God,
Romans 15:31that I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints; That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints; That I may be delivered from the unbelievers that are in Judea, and that the oblation of my service may be acceptable in Jerusalem to the saints.
Romans 15:32that I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest. That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. That I may come to you with joy, by the will of God, and may be refreshed with you.
Romans 15:33Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
