Numbers 24:1When Balaam saw that it pleased Yahweh to bless Israel, he didn't go, as at the other times, to meet with enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.And Balaam saw that it was good in the sight of Jehovah to bless Israel, and he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
Numbers 24:2Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel dwelling according to their tribes; and the Spirit of God came on him.And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes, and the spirit of God came upon him.And Balaam lifted up his eyes and saw Israel dwelling [in tents] according to his tribes; and the Spirit of God came upon him.
Numbers 24:3He took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor says, The man whose eye was closed says;And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, and the man of opened eye saith,
Numbers 24:4He says, who hears the words of God, Who sees the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, and having his eyes open:He hath said, who heard the words of God, who saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:He saith, who heareth the words of ùGod, who seeth the vision of the Almighty, who falleth down, and who hath his eyes open:
Numbers 24:5How goodly are your tents, Jacob, Your tents, Israel!How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!How goodly are thy tents, Jacob, and thy tabernacles, Israel!
Numbers 24:6As valleys are they spread forth, As gardens by the river-side, As lign-aloes which Yahweh has planted, As cedar-trees beside the waters.As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign-aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar-trees beside the waters.Like valleys are they spread forth, like gardens by the river side, Like aloe-trees which Jehovah hath planted, like cedars beside the waters.
Numbers 24:7Water shall flow from his buckets, His seed shall be in many waters, His king shall be higher than Agag, His kingdom shall be exalted.He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.Water shall flow out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in great waters, And his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
Numbers 24:8God brings him forth out of Egypt; He has as it were the strength of the wild-ox: He shall eat up the nations his adversaries, Shall break their bones in pieces, Smite [them] through with his arrows.God brought him forth from Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of a unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.ùGod brought him out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of a buffalo. He shall consume the nations his enemies, and break their bones, and with his arrows shall smite [them] in pieces.
Numbers 24:9He couched, he lay down as a lion, As a lioness; who shall rouse him up? Blessed be everyone who blesses you, Cursed be everyone who curses you.He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall rouse him? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.He stooped, he lay down like a lion, and like a lioness: who will stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
Numbers 24:10Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he struck his hands together; and Balak said to Balaam, I called you to curse my enemies, and, behold, you have altogether blessed them these three times.And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said to Balaam, I called thee to curse my enemies, and behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.Then Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together; and Balak said to Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and behold, thou hast altogether blessed [them] these three times!
Numbers 24:11Therefore now flee you to your place: I thought to promote you to great honor; but, behold, Yahweh has kept you back from honor.Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee to great honor; but lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honor.And now flee thou to thy place; I said I would very highly honour thee, and behold, Jehovah has kept thee back from honour.
Numbers 24:12Balaam said to Balak, Didn't I also tell your messengers who you sent to me, saying,And Balaam said to Balak, Did I not speak also to thy messengers whom thou sentest to me, saying,And Balaam said to Balak, Did I not also speak to thy messengers whom thou sentest to me, saying,
Numbers 24:13If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can't go beyond the word of Yahweh, to do either good or bad of my own mind; what Yahweh speaks, that will I speak?If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of my own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?If Balak gave me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the commandment of Jehovah to do good or bad out of my heart: what Jehovah shall say, that will I speak?
Numbers 24:14Now, behold, I go to my people: come, [and] I will advertise you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.And now, behold, I go to my people: come therefore, I will advertise thee what this people will do to thy people in the latter days.And now behold, I go to my people: come, I will admonish thee what this people will do to thy people at the end of days.
Numbers 24:15He took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor says, The man whose eye was closed says;And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, and the man of opened eye saith,
Numbers 24:16He says, who hears the words of God, Knows the knowledge of the Most High, Who sees the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, and having his eyes open:He hath said, who heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the Most High, who saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:He saith, who heareth the words of ùGod, who knoweth the knowledge of the Most High, Who seeth the vision of the Almighty, who falleth down, and who hath his eyes open:
Numbers 24:17I see him, but not now; I see him, but not near: There shall come forth a star out of Jacob, A scepter shall rise out of Israel, Shall strike through the corners of Moab, Break down all the sons of tumult.I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.I shall see him, but not now; I shall behold him, but not nigh: There cometh a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and he shall cut in pieces the corners of Moab, and destroy all the sons of tumult.
Numbers 24:18Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession, [who were] his enemies; While Israel does valiantly.And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.And Edom shall be a possession, and Seir a possession, they, his enemies; but Israel will do valiantly.
Numbers 24:19Out of Jacob shall one have dominion, Shall destroy the remnant from the city.Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.And one out of Jacob shall have dominion, and will destroy out of the city what remaineth.
Numbers 24:20He looked at Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; But his latter end shall come to destruction.And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations, but his latter end shall be that he shall perish for ever.And he saw Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, Amalek is the first of the nations, but his latter end shall be for destruction.
Numbers 24:21He looked at the Kenite, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is your dwelling-place, Your nest is set in the rock.And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwelling-place, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock.And he saw the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Firm is thy dwelling-place, and thy nest fixed in the rock;
Numbers 24:22Nevertheless Kain shall be wasted, Until Asshur shall carry you away captive.Nevertheless, the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asher shall carry thee away captive.But the Kenite shall be consumed, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.
Numbers 24:23He took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God does this?And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!And he took up his parable, and said, Alas! Who shall live when ùGod doeth this?
Numbers 24:24But ships [shall come] from the coast of Kittim, They shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber; He also shall come to destruction.And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Ashur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and afflict Asshur, and afflict Eber, and he also shall be for destruction.
Numbers 24:25Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went his way.And Balaam arose, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went his way.
