| John 17:1 | Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; | When Jesus had thus spoken, He raised his eyes towards Heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Thy Son that the Son may glorify Thee; | These things spake Jesus; and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the son may glorify thee: |
| John 17:2 | even as you gave him authority over all flesh, that to all whom you have given him, he will give eternal life. | even as Thou hast given Him authority over all mankind, so that on all whom Thou hast given Him He may bestow the Life of the Ages. | even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him, he should give eternal life. |
| John 17:3 | This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. | And in this consists the Life of the Ages in knowing Thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent. | And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, [even] Jesus Christ. |

| John 17:12 | While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. Those whom you have given me I have kept. None of them is lost, except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. | While I was with them, I kept them true to Thy name the name Thou hast given me to bear and I kept watch over them, and not one of them is lost but only he who is doomed to destruction that the Scripture may be fulfilled. | While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. |

| John 17:14 | I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. | I have given them Thy Message, and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. | I have given them thy word; and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. |
| John 17:15 | I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. | I do not ask that Thou wilt remove them out of the world, but that Thou wilt protect them from the Evil one. | I pray not that thou shouldest take them from the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil [one]. |
