| Mark 10:1 | He arose from there and came into the borders of Judea and beyond the Jordan. Multitudes came together to him again. As he usually did, he taught them again. | Soon on His feet once more, He enters the district of Judaea and crosses the Jordan: again the people flock to Him, and ere long, as was usual with Him, He was teaching them once more. | And he got up, and went into the country of Judaea on the other side of Jordan: and great numbers of people came together to him again; and, as was his way, he gave them teaching. |
| Mark 10:2 | There came to him Pharisees testing him, and asked him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?" | Presently a party of Pharisees come to Him with the question seeking to entrap Him, "May a man divorce his wife?" | And Pharisees came to him, testing him with the question, Is it right for a man to put away his wife? |
| Mark 10:3 | He answered, "What did Moses command you?" | "What rule did Moses lay down for you?" He answered. | And he said to them in answer, What did Moses say you were to do? |
