| Jonah 2:1 | Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh, his God, out of the fish's belly. | | And Jonah prayed unto Jehovah his God out of the fish's belly; |
| Jonah 2:2 | He said, "I called because of my affliction to Yahweh. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice. | | and he said: I cried by reason of my distress unto Jehovah, and he answered me; Out of the belly of Sheol cried I: thou heardest my voice. |

| Jonah 2:8 | Those who regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy. | | They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. |
| Jonah 2:9 | But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Yahweh." | | But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of Jehovah. |
