| Deuteronomy 14:1 | You are the children of Yahweh your God: you shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead. | | Be ye children of the Lord your God: you shall not cut yourselves, no, make any baldness for the dead; |

| Deuteronomy 14:26 | and you shall bestow the money for whatever your soul desires, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatever your soul asks of you; and you shall eat there before Yahweh your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household. | | And thou shalt buy with the same money whatsoever pleaseth thee, either of the herds or of sheep, wine also and strong drink, and all that thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, and shalt feast, thou and thy house: |
