| Matthew 8:1 | When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. | Upon descending from the hill country He was followed by immense crowds. | And when he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him: |
| Matthew 8:2 | Behold, a leper came to him and worshipped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean." | And a leper came to Him, and throwing himself at His feet, said, "Sir, if only you are willing you are able to cleanse me." | And behold a leper came and adored him, saying: Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. |
| Matthew 8:3 | Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I want to. Be made clean." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. | So Jesus put out His hand and touched him, and said, "I am willing: be cleansed." Instantly he was cleansed from his leprosy; | And Jesus stretching forth his hand, touched him, saying: I will, be thou made clean. And forthwith his leprosy was cleansed. |

| Matthew 8:10 | When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, "Most assuredly I tell you, I haven't found so great a faith, not even in Israel. | Jesus listened to this reply, and was astonished, and said to the people following Him, "I solemnly tell you that in no Israelite have I found faith as great as this. | And Jesus hearing this, marvelled; and said to them that followed him: Amen I say to you, I have not found so great faith in Israel. |

But they going out went into the swine, and behold the whole herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea: and they perished in the waters. |
