| Revelation 3:1 | "And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars says these things: "I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. | "To the minister of the Church at Sardis write as follows: "`This is what He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars says. I know your doings you are supposed to be alive, but in reality you are dead. | And to the messenger of the assembly in Sardis write: These things saith he who is having the Seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I have known thy works, and that thou hast the name that thou dost live, and thou art dead; |
| Revelation 3:2 | Wake up, and establish the things that remain, which were ready to die, for I have found no works of yours perfected before my God. | Rouse yourself and keep awake, and strengthen those things which remain but have well-nigh perished; for I have found no doings of yours free from imperfection in the sight of My God. | become watching, and strengthen the rest of the things that are about to die, for I have not found thy works fulfilled before God. |
