| Acts 10:1 | Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, | And there was a certain man in Cesarea, by name Cornelius, a centurion from a band called Italian, | Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, named Cornelius, the captain of the Italian band of the army; |

I ask therefore, why did you send for me?" | therefore also without gainsaying I came, having been sent for; I ask, therefore, for what matter ye did send for me?` | And so I came without question, when I was sent for. What then is your purpose in sending for me? |
| Acts 10:30 | Cornelius said, "Four days ago, I was fasting until this hour, and at the ninth hour, I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, | And Cornelius said, `Four days ago till this hour, I was fasting, and [at] the ninth hour praying in my house, and, lo, a man stood before me in bright clothing, | And Cornelius said, Four days from now I was in my house in prayer at the ninth hour; and I saw before me a man in shining clothing, |
| Acts 10:31 | and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God. | and he said, Cornelius, thy prayer was heard, and thy kind acts were remembered before God; | Who said, Cornelius, your prayer has come to the ears of God, and your offerings are kept in his memory. |
