Matthew 7:1"Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.`Judge not, that ye may not be judged,Judge not, that ye may not be judged;
Matthew 7:2For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged: and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.for in what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged, and in what measure ye measure, it shall be measured to you.for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you.
Matthew 7:3Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?`And why dost thou behold the mote that [is] in thy brother`s eye, and the beam that [is] in thine own eye dost not consider?But why lookest thou on the mote that is in the eye of thy brother, but observest not the beam that is in thine eye?
Matthew 7:4Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye?or, how wilt thou say to thy brother, Suffer I may cast out the mote from thine eye, and lo, the beam [is] in thine own eye?Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Allow [me], I will cast out the mote from thine eye; and behold, the beam is in thine eye?
Matthew 7:5You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.Hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then thou shalt see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother`s eye.Hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine eye, and then thou wilt see clearly to cast out the mote out of the eye of thy brother.
Matthew 7:6"Don't give that which is holy to the dogs, neither cast your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.`Ye may not give that which is [holy] to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before the swine, that they may not trample them among their feet, and having turned may rend you.Give not that which is holy to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before the swine, lest they trample them with their feet, and turning round rend you.
Matthew 7:7"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you.`Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you;Ask, and it shall be given to you. Seek, and ye shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened to you.
Matthew 7:8For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.for every one who is asking doth receive, and he who is seeking doth find, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened.For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:9Or what man is there of you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?`Or what man is of you, of whom, if his son may ask a loaf a stone will he present to him?Or what man is there of you who, if his son shall ask of him a loaf of bread, will give him a stone;
Matthew 7:10Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent?and if a fish he may ask a serpent will he present to him?and if he ask a fish, will give him a serpent?
Matthew 7:11If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!if, therefore, ye being evil, have known good gifts to give to your children, how much more shall your Father who [is] in the heavens give good things to those asking him?If therefore *ye*, being wicked, know [how] to give good gifts to your children, how much rather shall your Father who is in the heavens give good things to them that ask of him?
Matthew 7:12Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.`All things, therefore, whatever ye may will that men may be doing to you, so also do to them, for this is the law and the prophets.Therefore all things whatever ye desire that men should do to you, thus do *ye* also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
Matthew 7:13Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it.`Go ye in through the strait gate, because wide [is] the gate, and broad the way that is leading to the destruction, and many are those going in through it;Enter in through the narrow gate, for wide the gate and broad the way that leads to destruction, and many are they who enter in through it.
Matthew 7:14How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it.how strait [is] the gate, and compressed the way that is leading to the life, and few are those finding it!For narrow the gate and straitened the way that leads to life, and they are few who find it.
Matthew 7:15"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.`But, take heed of the false prophets, who come unto you in sheep`s clothing, and inwardly are ravening wolves.But beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but within are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:16By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?From their fruits ye shall know them; do [men] gather from thorns grapes? or from thistles figs?By their fruits ye shall know them. Do [men] gather a bunch of grapes from thorns, or from thistles figs?
Matthew 7:17Even so, every good tree brings forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.so every good tree doth yield good fruits, but the bad tree doth yield evil fruits.So every good tree produces good fruits, but the worthless tree produces bad fruits.
Matthew 7:18A good tree can't bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.A good tree is not able to yield evil fruits, nor a bad tree to yield good fruits.A good tree cannot produce bad fruits, nor a worthless tree produce good fruits.
Matthew 7:19Every tree that doesn't grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire.Every tree not yielding good fruit is cut down and is cast to fire:Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
Matthew 7:20Therefore, by their fruits you will know them.therefore from their fruits ye shall know them.By their fruits then surely ye shall know them.
Matthew 7:21Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.`Not every one who is saying to me Lord, lord, shall come into the reign of the heavens; but he who is doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens.Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he that does the will of my Father who is in the heavens.
Matthew 7:22Many will tell me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy by your name, by your name cast out demons, and by your name do many mighty works?'Many will say to me in that day, Lord, lord, have we not in thy name prophesied? and in thy name cast out demons? and in thy name done many mighty things?Many shall say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied through *thy* name, and through *thy* name cast out demons, and through *thy* name done many works of power?
Matthew 7:23Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'and then I will acknowledge to them, that I never knew you, depart from me ye who are working lawlessness.and then will I avow unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me, workers of lawlessness.
Matthew 7:24"Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock.`Therefore, every one who doth hear of me these words, and doth do them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock;Whoever therefore hears these my words and does them, I will liken him to a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock;
Matthew 7:25The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn't fall, for it was founded on the rock.and the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell not, for it had been founded on the rock.and the rain came down, and the streams came, and the winds blew and fell upon that house, and it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.
Matthew 7:26Everyone who hears these words of mine, and doesn't do them will be like a foolish man, who built his house on the sand.`And every one who is hearing of me these words, and is not doing them, shall be likened to a foolish man who built his house upon the sand;And every one who hears these my words and does not do them, he shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand;
Matthew 7:27The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it fell and great was its fall."and the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and its fall was great.`and the rain came down, and the streams came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell, and its fall was great.
Matthew 7:28It happened, when Jesus had finished saying these things, that the multitudes were astonished at his teaching,And it came to pass, when Jesus ended these words, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching,And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were astonished at his doctrine,
Matthew 7:29for he taught them with authority, and not like the scribes.for he was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scribes.for he taught them as having authority, and not as their scribes.
