| Matthew 25:1 | "Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. | `Then shall the reign of the heavens be likened to ten virgins, who, having taken their lamps, went forth to meet the bridegroom; | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom and the bride. |
| Matthew 25:2 | Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. | and five of them were prudent, and five foolish; | And five of them were foolish, and five wise. |
| Matthew 25:3 | Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them, | they who were foolish having taken their lamps, did not take with themselves oil; | But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them: |
