| Mark 10:1 | He arose from there and came into the borders of Judea and beyond the Jordan. Multitudes came together to him again. As he usually did, he taught them again. | And having risen thence, he doth come to the coasts of Judea, through the other side of the Jordan, and again do multitudes come together unto him, and, as he had been accustomed, again he was teaching them. | Soon on His feet once more, He enters the district of Judaea and crosses the Jordan: again the people flock to Him, and ere long, as was usual with Him, He was teaching them once more. |
| Mark 10:2 | There came to him Pharisees testing him, and asked him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?" | And the Pharisees, having come near, questioned him, if it is lawful for a husband to put away a wife, tempting him, | Presently a party of Pharisees come to Him with the question seeking to entrap Him, "May a man divorce his wife?" |
