| Matthew 25:1 | `Then shall the reign of the heavens be likened to ten virgins, who, having taken their lamps, went forth to meet the bridegroom; | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. | Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, the friends of the bride, who took their lights, and went out with the purpose of meeting the husband. |
| Matthew 25:2 | and five of them were prudent, and five foolish; | And five of them were foolish, and five were wise. | And five of them were foolish, and five were wise. |
