| Romans 8:1 | There is, then, now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit; | There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. | For this cause those who are in Christ Jesus will not be judged as sinners. |
| Romans 8:2 | for the law of the Spirit of the life in Christ Jesus did set me free from the law of the sin and of the death; | For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. | For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. |
| Romans 8:3 | for what the law was not able to do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, His own Son having sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, did condemn the sin in the flesh, | For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: | For what the law was not able to do because it was feeble through the flesh, God, sending his Son in the image of the evil flesh, and as an offering for sin, gave his decision against sin in the flesh: |

| Romans 8:26 | And, in like manner also, the Spirit doth help our weaknesses; for, what we may pray for, as it behoveth [us], we have not known, but the Spirit himself doth make intercession for us with groanings unutterable, | And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for [us] with groanings which cannot be uttered; | And in the same way the Spirit is a help to our feeble hearts: for we are not able to make prayer to God in the right way; but the Spirit puts our desires into words which are not in our power to say; |
| Romans 8:27 | and He who is searching the hearts hath known what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because according to God he doth intercede for saints. | and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God. | And he who is the searcher of hearts has knowledge of the mind of the Spirit, because he is making prayers for the saints in agreement with the mind of God. |
| Romans 8:28 | And we have known that to those loving God all things do work together for good, to those who are called according to purpose; | And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, [even] to them that are called according to [his] purpose. | And we are conscious that all things are working together for good to those who have love for God, and have been marked out by his purpose. |
| Romans 8:29 | because whom He did foreknow, He also did fore-appoint, conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be first-born among many brethren; | For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren: | Because those of whom he had knowledge before they came into existence, were marked out by him to be made like his Son, so that he might be the first among a band of brothers: |
