| Romans 6:1 | What, then, shall we say? shall we continue in the sin that the grace may abound? | What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? | What then shall we say? Should we continue in sin that grace may abound? |
| Romans 6:2 | let it not be! we who died to the sin how shall we still live in it? | God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein? | Far be the thought. We who have died to sin, how shall we still live in it? |
| Romans 6:3 | are ye ignorant that we, as many as were baptized to Christ Jesus, to his death were baptized? | Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? | Are you ignorant that we, as many as have been baptised unto Christ Jesus, have been baptised unto his death? |
| Romans 6:4 | we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk. | We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. | We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life. |

For even as ye have yielded your members in bondage to uncleanness and to lawlessness unto lawlessness, so now yield your members in bondage to righteousness unto holiness. |
