Romans 8:1There is, then, now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit; For this cause those who are in Christ Jesus will not be judged as sinners. There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh.
Romans 8:2for the law of the Spirit of the life in Christ Jesus did set me free from the law of the sin and of the death; For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath delivered me from the law of sin and of death.
Romans 8:3for what the law was not able to do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, His own Son having sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, did condemn the sin in the flesh,For what the law was not able to do because it was feeble through the flesh, God, sending his Son in the image of the evil flesh, and as an offering for sin, gave his decision against sin in the flesh:For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh; God sending his own Son, in the likeness of sinful flesh and of sin, hath condemned sin in the flesh;
Romans 8:4that the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. So that what was ordered by the law might be done in us, who are living, not in the way of the flesh, but in the way of the Spirit. That the justification of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.
Romans 8:5For those who are according to the flesh, the things of the flesh do mind; and those according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit; For those who are living in the way of the flesh give their minds to the things of the flesh, but those who go in the way of the Spirit, to the things of the Spirit. For they that are according to the flesh, mind the things that are of the flesh; but they that are according to the spirit, mind the things that are of the spirit.
Romans 8:6for the mind of the flesh [is] death, and the mind of the Spirit life and peace; For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:For the wisdom of the flesh is death; but the wisdom of the spirit is life and peace.
Romans 8:7because the mind of the flesh [is] enmity to God, for to the law of God it doth not subject itself,Because the mind of the flesh is opposite to God; it is not under the law of God, and is not able to be:Because the wisdom of the flesh is an enemy to God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can it be.
Romans 8:8for neither is it able; and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.So that those who are in the flesh are not able to give pleasure to God.And they who are in the flesh, cannot please God.
Romans 8:9And ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God doth dwell in you; and if any one hath not the Spirit of Christ this one is not His;You are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God is in you. But if any man has not the Spirit of Christ he is not one of his.But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Romans 8:10and if Christ [is] in you, the body, indeed, [is] dead because of sin, and the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness,And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead, because of sin; but the spirit liveth, because of justification.
Romans 8:11and if the Spirit of Him who did raise up Jesus out of the dead doth dwell in you, He who did raise up the Christ out of the dead shall quicken also your dying bodies, through His Spirit dwelling in you.But if the Spirit of him who made Jesus come again from the dead is in you, he who made Christ Jesus come again from the dead will in the same way, through his Spirit which is in you, give life to your bodies which now are under the power of death. And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, shall quicken also your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Romans 8:12So, then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh; So then, my brothers, we are in debt, not to the flesh to be living in the way of the flesh:Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
Romans 8:13for if according to the flesh ye do live, ye are about to die; and if, by the Spirit, the deeds of the body ye put to death, ye shall live; For if you go in the way of the flesh, death will come on you; but if by the Spirit you put to death the works of the body, you will have life. For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die: but if by the Spirit you mortify the deeds of the flesh, you shall live.
Romans 8:14for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God;And all those who are guided by the Spirit of God are sons of God.For whosoever are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 8:15for ye did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but ye did receive a spirit of adoption in which we cry, `Abba Father.`For you did not get the spirit of servants again to put you in fear, but the spirit of sons was given to you, by which we say, Abba, Father. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father).
Romans 8:16The Spirit himself doth testify with our spirit, that we are children of God;The Spirit is witness with our spirit that we are children of God:For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit, that we are the sons of God.
Romans 8:17and if children, also heirs, heirs, indeed, of God, and heirs together of Christ if, indeed, we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together. And if we are children, we have a right to a part in the heritage; a part in the things of God, together with Christ; so that if we have a part in his pain, we will in the same way have a part in his glory. And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God, and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.
Romans 8:18For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory about to be revealed in us;I am of the opinion that there is no comparison between the pain of this present time and the glory which we will see in the future. For I reckon that the sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come, that shall be revealed in us.
Romans 8:19for the earnest looking out of the creation doth expect the revelation of the sons of God;For the strong desire of every living thing is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God.For the expectation of the creature waiteth for the revelation of the sons of God.
Romans 8:20for to vanity was the creation made subject not of its will, but because of Him who did subject [it] in hope,For every living thing was put under the power of change, not by its desire, but by him who made it so, in hopeFor the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope:
Romans 8:21that also the creation itself shall be set free from the servitude of the corruption to the liberty of the glory of the children of God;That all living things will be made free from the power of death and will have a part with the free children of God in glory.Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.
Romans 8:22for we have known that all the creation doth groan together, and doth travail in pain together till now.For we are conscious that all living things are weeping and sorrowing in pain together till now.For we know that every creature groaneth and travaileth in pain, even till now.
Romans 8:23And not only [so], but also we ourselves, having the first-fruit of the Spirit, we also ourselves in ourselves do groan, adoption expecting the redemption of our body; And not only so, but we who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we have sorrow in our minds, waiting for the time when we will take our place as sons, that is, the salvation of our bodies. And not only it, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption of the sons of God, the redemption of our body.
Romans 8:24for in hope we were saved, and hope beheld is not hope; for what any one doth behold, why also doth he hope for [it]?For our salvation is by hope: but hope which is seen is not hope: for who is hoping for what he sees? For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he hope for?
Romans 8:25and if what we do not behold we hope for, through continuance we expect [it].But if we have hope for that which we see not, then we will be able to go on waiting for it.But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience.
Romans 8:26And, in like manner also, the Spirit doth help our weaknesses; for, what we may pray for, as it behoveth [us], we have not known, but the Spirit himself doth make intercession for us with groanings unutterable,And in the same way the Spirit is a help to our feeble hearts: for we are not able to make prayer to God in the right way; but the Spirit puts our desires into words which are not in our power to say;Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself asketh for us with unspeakable groanings.
Romans 8:27and He who is searching the hearts hath known what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because according to God he doth intercede for saints. And he who is the searcher of hearts has knowledge of the mind of the Spirit, because he is making prayers for the saints in agreement with the mind of God.And he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what the Spirit desireth; because he asketh for the saints according to God.
Romans 8:28And we have known that to those loving God all things do work together for good, to those who are called according to purpose; And we are conscious that all things are working together for good to those who have love for God, and have been marked out by his purpose. And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to his purpose, are called to be saints.
Romans 8:29because whom He did foreknow, He also did fore-appoint, conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be first-born among many brethren;Because those of whom he had knowledge before they came into existence, were marked out by him to be made like his Son, so that he might be the first among a band of brothers:For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son; that he might be the firstborn amongst many brethren.
Romans 8:30and whom He did fore-appoint, these also He did call; and whom He did call, these also He declared righteous; and whom He declared righteous, these also He did glorify. And those who were marked out by him were named; and those who were named were given righteousness; and to those to whom he gave righteousness, in the same way he gave glory. And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Romans 8:31What, then, shall we say unto these things? if God [is] for us, who [is] against us?What may we say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?
Romans 8:32He who indeed His own Son did not spare, but for us all did deliver him up, how shall He not also with him the all things grant to us?He who did not keep back his only Son, but gave him up for us all, will he not with him freely give us all things? He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?
Romans 8:33Who shall lay a charge against the choice ones of God? God [is] He that is declaring righteous,Who will say anything against the saints of God? It is God who makes us clear from evil;Who shall accuse against the elect of God? God that justifieth.
Romans 8:34who [is] he that is condemning? Christ [is] He that died, yea, rather also, was raised up; who is also on the right hand of God who also doth intercede for us.Who will give a decision against us? It is Christ Jesus who not only was put to death, but came again from the dead, who is now at the right hand of God, taking our part.Who is he that shall condemn? Christ Jesus that died, yea that is risen also again; who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Romans 8:35Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Who will come between us and the love of Christ? Will trouble, or pain, or cruel acts, or the need of food or of clothing, or danger, or the sword?Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? or distress? or famine? or nakedness? or danger? or persecution? or the sword?
Romans 8:36(according as it hath been written `For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long, we were reckoned as sheep of slaughter,`)As it is said in the holy Writings, Because of you we are put to death every day; we are like sheep ready for destruction.(As it is written: For thy sake we are put to death all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)
Romans 8:37but in all these we more than conquer, through him who loved us;But we are able to overcome all these things and more through his love. But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us.
Romans 8:38for I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,For I am certain that not death, or life, or angels, or rulers, or things present, or things to come, or powers,For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might,
Romans 8:39nor things about to be, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of god, that [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.Or things on high, or things under the earth, or anything which is made, will be able to come between us and the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
