Luke 17:1And he said unto the disciples, `It is impossible for the stumbling blocks not to come, but wo [to him] through whom they come; And he said to his disciples, It is necessary for causes of trouble to come about, but unhappy is he by whom they come. Then he said to the disciples, It is impossible but that causes of sin will come: but woe to him by whom they come!
Luke 17:2it is more profitable to him if a weighty millstone is put round about his neck, and he hath been cast into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to stumble. It would be well for him if a great stone was put round his neck and he was dropped into the sea, before he made trouble for any of these little ones.It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to fall into sin.
Luke 17:3`Take heed to yourselves, and, if thy brother may sin in regard to thee, rebuke him, and if he may reform, forgive him,Give attention to yourselves: if your brother does wrong, say a sharp word to him; and if he has sorrow for his sin, let him have forgiveness.Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother shall trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he shall repent forgive him.
Luke 17:4and if seven times in the day he may sin against thee, and seven times in the day may turn back to thee, saying, I reform; thou shalt forgive him.`And if he does you wrong seven times in a day, and seven times comes to you and says, I have regret for what I have done; let him have forgiveness. And if he shall trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day shall turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Luke 17:5And the apostles said to the Lord, `Add to us faith;`And the twelve said to the Lord, Make our faith greater. And the apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith.
Luke 17:6and the Lord said, `If ye had faith as a grain of mustard, ye would have said to this sycamine, Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.And the Lord said, If your faith was only as great as a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this tree, Be rooted up and planted in the sea; and it would be done. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard-seed, ye might say to this sycamine-tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it would obey you.
Luke 17:7`But, who is he of you having a servant ploughing or feeding who, to him having come in out of the field, will say, Having come near, recline at meat? But which of you, having a servant who is ploughing or keeping sheep, will say to him, when he comes in from the field, Come now and be seated and have a meal,But which of you having a servant plowing, or feeding cattle, will say to him immediately, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to eat?
Luke 17:8but will not [rather] say to him, Prepare what I may sup, and having girded thyself about, minister to me, till I eat and drink, and after these things thou shalt eat and drink? Will he not say, Get a meal for me, and make yourself ready and see to my needs till I have had my food and drink; and after that you may have yours? And will not rather say to him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drank; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Luke 17:9Hath he favour to that servant because he did the things directed? I think not.Does he give praise to the servant because he did what was ordered?Doth he thank that servant, because he did the things that were commanded him? I suppose not.
Luke 17:10`So also ye, when ye may have done all the things directed you, say We are unprofitable servants, because that which we owed to do we have done.`In the same way, when you have done all the things which are given you to do, say, There is no profit in us, for we have only done what we were ordered to do.So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all the things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which it was our duty to do.
Luke 17:11And it came to pass, in his going on to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee,And it came about that when they were on the way to Jerusalem he went through Samaria and Galilee. And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

Luke 17:14and having seen [them], he said to them, `Having gone on, shew yourselves to the priests;` and it came to pass, in their going, they were cleansed,And when he saw them he said, Go, and let the priests see you. And, while they were going, they were made clean. And when he saw them, he said to them, Go, show yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass, that as they were going, they were cleansed.
Luke 17:15and one of them having seen that he was healed did turn back, with a loud voice glorifying God,And one of them, when he saw that he was clean, turning back, gave praise to God in a loud voice; And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
Luke 17:16and he fell upon [his] face at his feet, giving thanks to him, and he was a Samaritan. And, falling down on his face at the feet of Jesus, he gave the credit to him; and he was a man of Samaria. And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
Luke 17:17And Jesus answering said, `Were not the ten cleansed, and the nine where? And Jesus said, Were there not ten men who were made clean? where are the nine? And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
Luke 17:18There were not found who did turn back to give glory to God, except this alien;`Have not any of them come back to give glory to God, but only this one from a strange land? There are not found returning to give glory to God, save this stranger.
Luke 17:19and he said to him, `Having risen, be going on, thy faith hath saved thee.`And he said to him, Get up, and go on your way; your faith has made you well. And he said to him, Arise, depart: thy faith hath made thee whole.
Luke 17:20And having been questioned by the Pharisees, when the reign of God doth come, he answered them, and said, `The reign of God doth not come with observation; And when the Pharisees put questions to him about when the kingdom of God would come, he gave them an answer and said, The kingdom of God will not come through observation:And when he was asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation.
Luke 17:21nor shall they say, Lo, here; or lo, there; for lo, the reign of God is within you.`And men will not say, See, it is here! or, There! for the kingdom of God is among you.Neither will they say, Lo here! or lo there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Luke 17:22And he said unto his disciples, `Days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and ye shall not behold [it];And he said to his disciples, The time will come when you will have a great desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, but you will not see it.And he said to his disciples, The days will come, when ye will desire to see one of the days of the son of man, and ye shall not see it.

Luke 17:24for as the lightning that is lightening out of the one [part] under heaven, to the other part under heaven doth shine, so shall be also the Son of Man in his day;For as in a thunderstorm the bright light is seen from one end of the sky to the other, so will the Son of man be when his time comes. For as the lightning that lighteneth from the one part under heaven, shineth to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

Luke 17:26`And, as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man;And as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the day of the Son of man.And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luke 17:27they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, till the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the deluge came, and destroyed all; They were feasting and taking wives and getting married, till the day of the overflowing of the waters, when Noah went into the ark, and they all came to destruction. They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:28in like manner also, as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;In the same way, in the days of Lot; they were feasting and trading, they were planting and building;Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
Luke 17:29and on the day Lot went forth from Sodom, He rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed all.But on the day when Lot went out of Sodom, fire came down from heaven and destruction came on them all.But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:
Luke 17:30`According to these things it shall be, in the day the Son of Man is revealed; So will it be in the day of the revelation of the Son of man.Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Luke 17:31in that day, he who shall be on the house top, and his vessels in the house, let him not come down to take them away; and he in the field, in like manner, let him not turn backward; On that day, if anyone is on the roof of the house, and his goods are in the house, let him not go down to take them away; and let him who is in the field not go back to his house. In that day, he who shall be upon the house-top, and his furniture in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
