John 2:1And the third day a marriage happened in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there,And on the third day a marriage took place in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there.
John 2:2and also Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage;And Jesus also, and his disciples, were invited to the marriage.And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
John 2:3and wine having failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, `Wine they have not;`And wine being deficient, the mother of Jesus says to him, They have no wine.And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith to him, They have no wine.
John 2:4Jesus saith to her, `What to me and to thee, woman? not yet is mine hour come.`Jesus says to her, What have I to do with thee, woman? mine hour has not yet come.Jesus saith to her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? my hour is not yet come.
John 2:5His mother saith to the ministrants, `Whatever he may say to you do.`His mother says to the servants, Whatever he may say to you, do.His mother saith to the servants, Whatever he saith to you, do it.
John 2:6And there were there six water-jugs of stone, placed according to the purifying of the Jews, holding each two or three measures.Now there were standing there six stone water-vessels, according to the purification of the Jews, holding two or three measures each.And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
John 2:7Jesus saith to them, `Fill the water-jugs with water;` and they filled them unto the brim;Jesus says to them, Fill the water-vessels with water. And they filled them up to the brim.Jesus saith to them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them to the brim.
John 2:8and he saith to them, `Draw out, now, and bear to the director of the apartment;` and they bare.And he says to them, Draw out now, and carry [it] to the feast-master. And they carried [it].And he saith to them, Draw out now, and bear to the governor of the feast. And they bore it.
John 2:9And as the director of the apartment tasted the water become wine, and knew not whence it is, (but the ministrants knew, who have drawn the water,) the director of the feast doth call the bridegroom,But when the feast-master had tasted the water which had been made wine (and knew not whence it was, but the servants knew who drew the water), the feast-master calls the bridegroom,When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was; (but the servants who drew the water knew) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
John 2:10and saith to him, `Every man, at first, the good wine doth set forth; and when they may have drunk freely, then the inferior; thou didst keep the good wine till now.`and says to him, Every man sets on first the good wine, and when [men] have well drunk, then the inferior; thou hast kept the good wine till now.And saith to him, Every man at the beginning presenteth good wine; and when men have well drank, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
John 2:11This beginning of the signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him;This beginning of signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.This beginning of miracles Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
John 2:12after this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples; and there they remained not many days.After this he descended to Capernaum, he and his mother and his brethren and his disciples; and there they abode not many days.After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples; and they continued there not many days.
John 2:13And the passover of the Jews was nigh, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,And the passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
John 2:14and he found in the temple those selling oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the money-changers sitting,And he found in the temple the sellers of oxen and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting;And found in the temple those that sold oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the changers of money, sitting:
John 2:15and having made a whip of small cords, he put all forth out of the temple, also the sheep, and the oxen; and of the money-changers he poured out the coins, and the tables he overthrew,and, having made a scourge of cords, he cast [them] all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the change of the money-changers, and overturned the tables,And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
John 2:16and to those selling the doves he said, `Take these things hence; make not the house of my Father a house of merchandise.`and said to the sellers of doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.And said to them that sold doves, Take these things hence: make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
John 2:17And his disciples remembered that it is written, `The zeal of Thy house did eat me up;`[And] his disciples remembered that it is written, The zeal of thy house devours me.And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thy house hath eaten me up.
John 2:18the Jews then answered and said to him, `What sign dost thou shew to us that thou dost these things?`The Jews therefore answered and said to him, What sign shewest thou to us, that thou doest these things?Then answered the Jews, and said to him, What sign showest thou to us, seeing that thou doest these things?
John 2:19Jesus answered and said to them, `Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up.`Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
John 2:20The Jews, therefore, said, `Forty and six years was this sanctuary building, and wilt thou in three days raise it up?`The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple building, and thou wilt raise it up in three days?Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
John 2:21but he spake concerning the sanctuary of his body;But *he* spoke of the temple of his body.But he spoke of the temple of his body.
John 2:22when, then, he was raised out of the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this to them, and they believed the Writing, and the word that Jesus said.When therefore he was raised from among [the] dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and believed the scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.When therefore he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this to them: and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.
John 2:23And as he was in Jerusalem, in the passover, in the feast, many believed in his name, beholding his signs that he was doing;And when he was in Jerusalem, at the passover, at the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he wrought.Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he performed.
John 2:24and Jesus himself was not trusting himself to them, because of his knowing all [men],But Jesus himself did not trust himself to them, because he knew all [men],But Jesus did not commit himself to them, because he knew all men.
John 2:25and because he had no need that any should testify concerning man, for he himself was knowing what was in man.and that he had not need that any should testify of man, for himself knew what was in man.And needed not that any should testify concerning man: for he knew what was in man.
