Galatians 1:1Paul, an apostle not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who did raise him out of the deadPaul, apostle, not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God [the] Father who raised him from among [the] dead,Paul, an Apostle sent not from men nor by any man, but by Jesus Christ and by God the Father, who raised Jesus from among the dead
Galatians 1:2and all the brethren with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:and all the brethren with me, to the assemblies of Galatia.and all the brethren who are with me: To the Churches of Galatia.
Galatians 1:3Grace to you, and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,Grace to you, and peace, from God [the] Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,May grace and peace be granted to you from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
Galatians 1:4who did give himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of God even our Father, who gave himself for our sins, so that he should deliver us out of the present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father;who gave Himself to suffer for our sins in order to rescue us from the present wicked age in accordance with the will of our God and Father.
Galatians 1:5to whom [is] the glory to the ages of the ages. Amen.to whom [be] glory to the ages of ages. Amen.To Him be the glory to the Ages of the Ages! Amen.
Galatians 1:6I wonder that ye are so quickly removed from Him who did call you in the grace of Christ to another good news;I wonder that ye thus quickly change, from him that called you in Christ's grace, to a different gospel,I marvel that you are so readily leaving Him who called you by the grace of Christ, and are adhering to a different Good News.
Galatians 1:7that is not another, except there be certain who are troubling you, and wishing to pervert the good news of the Christ;which is not another [one]; but there are some that trouble you, and desire to pervert the glad tidings of the Christ. For other "Good News" there is none; but there are some persons who are troubling you, and are seeking to distort the Good News concerning Christ.
Galatians 1:8but even if we or a messenger out of heaven may proclaim good news to you different from what we did proclaim to you anathema let him be!But if even *we* or an angel out of heaven announce as glad tidings to you [anything] besides what we have announced as glad tidings to you, let him be accursed. But if even we or an angel from Heaven should bring you a Good News different from that which we have already brought you, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:9as we have said before, and now say again, If any one to you may proclaim good news different from what ye did receive anathema let him be!As we have said before, now also again I say, If any one announce to you as glad tidings [anything] besides what ye have received, let him be accursed. What I have just said I repeat if any one is preaching to you a Good News other than that which you originally received, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:10for now men do I persuade, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if yet men I did please Christ`s servant I should not be.For do I now seek to satisfy men or God? or do I seek to please men? If I were yet pleasing men, I were not Christ's bondman. For is it man's favour or God's that I aspire to? Or am I seeking to please men? If I were still a man-pleaser, I should not be Christ's bondservant.
Galatians 1:11And I make known to you, brethren, the good news that were proclaimed by me, that it is not according to man,But I let you know, brethren, [as to] the glad tidings which were announced by me, that they are not according to man.For I must tell you, brethren, that the Good News which was proclaimed by me is not such as man approves of.
Galatians 1:12for neither did I from man receive it, nor was I taught [it], but through a revelation of Jesus Christ,For neither did I receive them from man, neither was I taught [them], but by revelation of Jesus Christ. For, in fact, it was not from man that I received or learnt it, but by a revelation from Jesus Christ.
Galatians 1:13for ye did hear of my behaviour once in Judaism, that exceedingly I was persecuting the assembly of God, and wasting it,For ye have heard [what was] my conversation formerly in Judaism, that I excessively persecuted the assembly of God, and ravaged it;For you have heard of my early career in Judaism how I furiously persecuted the Church of God, and made havoc of it;
Galatians 1:14and I was advancing in Judaism above many equals in age in mine own race, being more abundantly zealous of my fathers` deliverances, and advanced in Judaism beyond many [my] contemporaries in my nation, being exceedingly zealous of the doctrines of my fathers.and how in devotion to Judaism I outstripped many men of my own age among my people, being far more zealous than they on behalf of the traditions of my forefathers.
Galatians 1:15and when God was well pleased having separated me from the womb of my mother, and having called [me] through His graceBut when God, who set me apart [even] from my mother's womb, and called [me] by his grace,But when He who set me apart even from my birth, and called me by His grace,
Galatians 1:16to reveal His Son in me, that I might proclaim him good news among the nations, immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood, was pleased to reveal his Son in me, that I may announce him as glad tidings among the nations, immediately I took not counsel with flesh and blood, saw fit to reveal His Son within me in order that I might tell among the Gentiles the Good News concerning Him, at once I did not confer with any human being,
Galatians 1:17nor did I go up to Jerusalem unto those who were apostles before me, but I went away to Arabia, and again returned to Damascus, nor went I up to Jerusalem to those [who were] apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and again returned to Damascus.nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were my seniors in the Apostleship, but I went away into Arabia, and afterwards came back to Damascus.
Galatians 1:18then, after three years I went up to Jerusalem to enquire about Peter, and remained with him fifteen days,Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to make acquaintance with Peter, and I remained with him fifteen days; Then, three years later, I went up to Jerusalem to inquire for Peter, and I spent a fortnight with him.
Galatians 1:19and other of the apostles I did not see, except James, the brother of the Lord.but I saw none other of the apostles, but James the brother of the Lord.I saw none of the other Apostles, except James, the Lord's brother.
Galatians 1:20And the things that I write to you, lo, before God I lie not;Now what I write to you, behold, before God, I do not lie.In making these assertions I am speaking the truth, as in the sight of God.
Galatians 1:21then I came to the regions of Syria and of Cilicia,Then I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia.Afterwards I visited Syria and Cilicia.
Galatians 1:22and was unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea, that [are] in Christ,But I was unknown personally to the assemblies of Judaea which [are] in Christ; But to the Christian Churches in Judaea I was personally unknown.
Galatians 1:23and only they were hearing, that `he who is persecuting us then, doth now proclaim good news the faith that then he was wasting;`only they were hearing that he who persecuted us formerly now announces the glad tidings of the faith which formerly he ravaged:They only heard it said, "He who was once our persecutor is now telling the Good News of the faith of which he formerly made havoc."
Galatians 1:24and they were glorifying God in me.and they glorified God in me.And they gave glory to God on my account.
