Matthew 20:7 | they say to him, Because no one did hire us; he saith to them, Go ye ye also to the vineyard, and whatever may be righteous ye shall receive. | They say to him, Because no man has hired us. He says to them, Go also ye into the vineyard [and whatsoever may be just ye shall receive]. | "`Because no one has hired us,' they replied. "`You also, go into the vineyard,' he said. |
Matthew 20:8 | `And evening having come, the lord of the vineyard saith to his steward, Call the workmen, and pay them the reward, having begun from the last unto the first. | But when the evening was come, the lord of the vineyard says to his steward, Call the workmen and pay [them] their wages, beginning from the last even to the first. | "When evening came, the master said to his steward, "`Call the men and pay them their wages. Begin with the last set and finish with the first.' |

Matthew 20:13 | `And he answering said to one of them, Comrade, I do no unrighteousness to thee; for a denary didst not thou agree with me? | But he answering said to one of them, [My] friend, I do not wrong thee. Didst thou not agree with me for a denarius? | "`My friend,' he answered to one of them, `I am doing you no injustice. Did you not agree with me for a shilling? |
Matthew 20:14 | take that which is thine, and go; and I will to give to this, the last, also as to thee; | Take what is thine and go. But it is my will to give to this last even as to thee: | Take your money and go. I choose to give this last comer just as much as I give you. |
Matthew 20:15 | is it not lawful to me to do what I will in mine own? is thine eye evil because I am good? | is it not lawful for me to do what I will in my own affairs? Is thine eye evil because *I* am good? | Have I not a right to do what I choose with my own property? Or are you envious because I am generous?' |

Can ye drink the cup which *I* am about to drink? Matthew 20:26 | but not so shall it be among you, but whoever may will among you to become great, let him be your ministrant; | It shall not be thus amongst you, but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your servant; | Not so shall it be among you; but whoever desires to be great among you shall be your servant, |
