And now receive no money of your acquaintances, but give it for the breaches of the house. Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and for the [other] priests, and said to them, Why don't you repair the breaches of the house? now therefore take no [more] money from your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house.
2nd-Kings 12:8And the priests consent not to receive money from the people, nor to strengthen the breach of the house,And the priests consented to receive no money of the people, and that they should only repair the breaches of the house. The priests consented that they should take no [more] money from the people, neither repair the breaches of the house.
