| Luke 12:1 | At which time the myriads of the multitude having been gathered together, so as to tread upon one another, he began to say unto his disciples, first, `Take heed to yourselves of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy; | In those [times], the myriads of the crowd being gathered together, so that they trod one on another, he began to say to his disciples first, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy; | Meanwhile, when a multitude of many thousands had gathered together, so much so that they trampled on each other, he began to tell his disciples first of all, "Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. |
| Luke 12:2 | and there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known; | but there is nothing covered up which shall not be revealed, nor secret that shall not be known; | But there is nothing covered up, that will not be revealed, nor hidden, that will not be known. |
| Luke 12:3 | because whatever in the darkness ye said, in the light shall be heard: and what to the ear ye spake in the inner-chambers, shall be proclaimed upon the house-tops. | therefore whatever ye have said in the darkness shall be heard in the light, and what ye have spoken in the ear in chambers shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. | Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light.
