Mark 7:2 | and having seen certain of his disciples with defiled hands that is, unwashed eating bread, they found fault; | And when they had seen some of his disciples eat bread with common, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault. | and had seen that some of his disciples ate their bread with defiled, that is, unwashen, hands. |
Mark 7:3 | for the Pharisees, and all the Jews, if they do not wash the hands to the wrist, do not eat, holding the tradition of the elders, | For the Pharisees, and all the Jews eat not without often washing their hands, holding the tradition of the ancients: | (For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands diligently, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders; |
Mark 7:4 | and, [coming] from the market-place, if they do not baptize themselves, they do not eat; and many other things there are that they received to hold, baptisms of cups, and pots, and brazen vessels, and couches. | And when they come from the market, unless they be washed, they eat not: and many other things there are that have been delivered to them to observe, the washings of cups and of pots, and of brazen vessels, and of beds. | and [when they come] from the market-place, except they bathe themselves, they eat not; and many other things there are, which they have received to hold, washings of cups, and pots, and brasen vessels.) |
Mark 7:5 | Then question him do the Pharisees and the scribes, `Wherefore do thy disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but with unwashed hands do eat the bread?` | And the Pharisees and scribes asked him: Why do not thy disciples walk according to the tradition of the ancients, but they eat bread with common hands? | And the Pharisees and the scribes ask him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with defiled hands? |
Mark 7:6 | and he answering said to them `Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, hypocrites, as it hath been written, This people with the lips doth honor Me, and their heart is far from Me; | But he answering, said to them: Well did Isaias prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. | And he said unto them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me. |
Mark 7:7 | and in vain do they worship Me, teaching teachings, commands of men; | And in vain to they worship me, teaching doctrines and precepts of men. | But in vain do they worship me, Teaching [as their] doctrines the precepts of men. |
Mark 7:8 | for, having put away the command of God, ye hold the tradition of men, baptisms of pots and cups; and many other such like things ye do.` | For leaving the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, the washing of pots and of cups: and many other things you do like to these. | Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men. |
Mark 7:9 | And he said to them, `Well do ye put away the command of God that your tradition ye may keep; | And he said to them: Well do you make void the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition. | And he said unto them, Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition. |

Mark 7:11 | and ye say, If a man may say to father or to mother, Korban (that is, a gift), [is] whatever thou mayest be profited out of mine, | But you say: If a man shall say to his father or mother, Corban, (which is a gift,) whatsoever is from me, shall profit thee. | but ye say, If a man shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is Corban, that is to say, Given [to God]; |
Mark 7:12 | and no more do ye suffer him to do anything for his father or for his mother, | And further you suffer him not to do any thing for his father or mother, | ye no longer suffer him to do aught for his father or his mother; |
Mark 7:13 | setting aside the word of God for your tradition that ye delivered; and many such like things ye do.` | Making void the word of God by your own tradition, which you have given forth. Mark 7:15 | there is nothing from without the man entering into him that is able to defile him, but the things coming out from him, those are the things defiling the man. | There is nothing from without a man that entering into him, can defile him. But the things which come from a man, those are they that defile a man. | there is nothing from without the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man. |

Mark 7:17 | And when he entered into a house from the multitude, his disciples were questioning him about the simile, | And when he was come into the house from the multitude, his disciples asked him the parable. | And when he was entered into the house from the multitude, his disciples asked of him the parable. |
Mark 7:18 | and he saith to them, `So also ye are without understanding! Do ye not perceive that nothing from without entering into the man is able to defile him? | And he saith to them: So are you also without knowledge? understand you not that every thing from without, entering into a man cannot defile him: | And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Perceive ye not, that whatsoever from without goeth into the man, [it] cannot defile him; |
Mark 7:19 | because it doth not enter into his heart, but into the belly, and into the drain it doth go out, purifying all the meats.` | Because it entereth not into his heart, but goeth into the belly, and goeth out into the privy, purging all meats? | because it goeth not into his heart, but into his belly, and goeth out into the draught? [This he said], making all meats clean. |

Mark 7:26 | and the woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phenician by nation and was asking him, that the demon he may cast forth out of her daughter. | For the woman was a Gentile, a Syrophenician born. Mark 7:27 | And Jesus said to her, `Suffer first the children to be filled, for it is not good to take the children`s bread, and to cast [it] to the little dogs.` | Who said to her: Suffer first the children to be filled: for it is not good to take the bread of the children, and cast it to the dogs. | And he said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs. |
