| John 15:1 | `I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman; | If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; as I also have kept my Father's commandments, and do abide in his love. | I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. |
| John 15:2 | every branch in me not bearing fruit, He doth take it away, and every one bearing fruit, He doth cleanse by pruning it, that it may bear more fruit; | These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be filled. | Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh away; and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleaneth it, that it my bring forth more fruit. |
