| Ezekiel 2:1 | It [is] the appearance of the likeness of the honour of Jehovah, and I see, and fall on my face, and I hear a voice speaking, and He saith unto me, `Son of man, stand on thy feet, and I speak with thee.` | This was the vision of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And I saw, and I fell upon my face, and I heard the voice of one that spoke. And he said to me: Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak to thee. | He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you. |
| Ezekiel 2:2 | And there doth come into me a spirit, when He hath spoken unto me, and it causeth me to stand on my feet, and I hear Him who is speaking unto me. | And the spirit entered into me after that he spoke to me, and he set me upon my feet: and I heard him speaking to me, | The Spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard him who spoke to me. |

| Ezekiel 2:5 | and they whether they hear, or whether they forbear, for a rebellious house they [are] have known that a prophet hath been in their midst. | If so be they at least will hear, and if so be they will forbear, for they are a provoking house: and they shall know that there hath been a prophet in the midst of them. | They, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them. |

Fear not their words, neither be thou dismayed at their looks: for they are a provoking house. | You, son of man, don't be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: don't be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house. |
