Matthew 15:5but ye say, Whoever may say to father or mother, An offering [is] whatever thou mayest be profited by me;But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; But you say, If a man says to his father or his mother, That by which you might have had profit from me is given to God;
Matthew 15:6and he may not honour his father or his mother, and ye did set aside the command of God because of your tradition.And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. There is no need for him to give honour to his father. And you have made the word of God without effect because of your teaching.
Matthew 15:7`Hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, You false ones, well did Isaiah say of you,

These people give me honour with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Matthew 15:11not that which is coming into the mouth doth defile the man, but that which is coming forth from the mouth, this defileth the man.`Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Not that which goes into the mouth makes a man unclean, but that which comes out of the mouth.
Matthew 15:12Then his disciples having come near, said to him, `Hast thou known that the Pharisees, having heard the word, were stumbled?`Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth goes on into the stomach, and is sent out as waste?
Matthew 15:18but the things coming forth from the mouth from the heart do come forth, and these defile the man;But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. But the things which come out of the mouth come from the heart; and they make a man unclean.
Matthew 15:19for out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, whoredoms, thefts, false witnessings, evil speakings:For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: For out of the heart come evil thoughts, the taking of life, broken faith between the married, unclean desires of the flesh, taking of property, false witness, bitter words:
