| Mark 10:1 | And having risen thence, he doth come to the coasts of Judea, through the other side of the Jordan, and again do multitudes come together unto him, and, as he had been accustomed, again he was teaching them. | And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again. | Soon on His feet once more, He enters the district of Judaea and crosses the Jordan: again the people flock to Him, and ere long, as was usual with Him, He was teaching them once more. |
| Mark 10:2 | And the Pharisees, having come near, questioned him, if it is lawful for a husband to put away a wife, tempting him, | And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. | Presently a party of Pharisees come to Him with the question seeking to entrap Him, "May a man divorce his wife?" |
| Mark 10:3 | and he answering said to them, `What did Moses command you?` | And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? | "What rule did Moses lay down for you?" He answered. |

| Mark 10:14 | and Jesus having seen, was much displeased, and he said to them, `Suffer the children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the reign of God; | But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. | Jesus, however, on seeing this, was moved to indignation, and said to them, "Let the little children come to me: do not hinder them; for to those who are childlike the Kingdom of God belongs. |
