| Matthew 24:1 | And having gone forth, Jesus departed from the temple, and his disciples came near to show him the buildings of the temple, | And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. | Jesus had left the Temple and was going on His way, when His disciples came and called His attention to the Temple buildings. |
| Matthew 24:2 | and Jesus said to them, `Do ye not see all these? verily I say to you, There may not be left here a stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down.` | And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. | "You see all these?" He replied; "in solemn truth I tell you that there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be pulled down." |
