Exodus 20:5 | Thou dost not bow thyself to them, nor serve them: for I, Jehovah thy God, [am] a zealous God, charging iniquity of fathers on sons, on the third [generation], and on the fourth, of those hating Me, | Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; | you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me, |
Exodus 20:6 | and doing kindness to thousands, of those loving Me and keeping My commands. | And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. | and showing lovingkindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. |

You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your man-servant, nor your maid-servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates; |
Exodus 20:11 | for six days hath Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that [is] in them, and resteth in the seventh day; therefore hath Jehovah blessed the Sabbath-day, and doth sanctify it. | For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. | for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy. |

Exodus 20:18 | And all the people are seeing the voices, and the flames, and the sound of the trumpet, and the mount smoking; and the people see, and move, and stand afar off, | And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. | All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance. |
Exodus 20:19 | and say unto Moses, `Speak thou with us, and we hear, and let not God speak with us, lest we die.` | And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. | They said to Moses, "Speak with us yourself, and we will listen; but don't let God speak with us, lest we die." |

Exodus 20:23 | ye do not make with Me gods of silver, even gods of gold ye do not make to yourselves. | Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. | You shall most certainly not make alongside of me gods of silver, or gods of gold for yourselves. |
Exodus 20:24 | `An altar of earth thou dost make for Me, and thou hast sacrificed on it thy burnt-offerings and thy peace-offerings, thy flock and thy herd; in every place where I cause My name to be remembered I come in unto thee, and have blessed thee. | An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. | You shall make an altar of earth for me, and shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace-offerings, your sheep and your oxen. In every place where I record my name I will come to you and I will bless you. |
Exodus 20:25 | `And if an altar of stones thou dost make to Me, thou dost not build them of hewn work; when thy tool thou hast waved over it, then thou dost pollute it; | And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it. | If you make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stones; for if you lift up your tool on it, you have polluted it. |
Exodus 20:26 | neither dost thou go up by steps on Mine altar, that thy nakedness be not revealed upon it. | Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon. | Neither shall you go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness may not be exposed to it.' |
