| Exodus 22:1 | `When a man doth steal an ox or sheep, and hath slaughtered it or sold it, five of the herd he doth repay for the ox, and four of the flock for the sheep. | If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep. | "If a man steals an ox or a sheep, and kills it, or sells it; he shall pay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep. |
| Exodus 22:2 | `If in the breaking through, the thief is found, and he hath been smitten, and hath died, there is no blood for him; | If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him. | If the thief is found breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt of bloodshed for him. |

| Exodus 22:11 | an oath of Jehovah is between them both, that he hath not put forth his hand against the work of his neighbour, and its owner hath accepted, and he doth not repay; | Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour's goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good. | the oath of Yahweh shall be between them both, whether he hasn't put his hand to his neighbor's goods; and the owner of it shall accept it, and he shall not make restitution. |
