John 15:1`I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman;I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
John 15:2every branch in me not bearing fruit, He doth take it away, and every one bearing fruit, He doth cleanse by pruning it, that it may bear more fruit;Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:3already ye are clean, because of the word that I have spoken to you;Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
John 15:4remain in me, and I in you, as the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, if it may not remain in the vine, so neither ye, if ye may not remain in me.Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
John 15:5`I am the vine, ye the branches; he who is remaining in me, and I in him, this one doth bear much fruit, because apart from me ye are not able to do anything;I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:6if any one may not remain in me, he was cast forth without as the branch, and was withered, and they gather them, and cast to fire, and they are burned; If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
John 15:7if ye may remain in me, and my sayings in you may remain, whatever ye may wish ye shall ask, and it shall be done to you.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done to you.
John 15:8`In this was my Father glorified, that ye may bear much fruit, and ye shall become my disciples.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
John 15:9According as the Father did love me, I also loved you, remain in my love;As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love.
John 15:10if my commandments ye may keep, ye shall remain in my love, according as I the commands of my Father have kept, and do remain in His love;If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and remain in his love.
John 15:11these things I have spoken to you, that my joy in you may remain, and your joy may be full. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
John 15:12`This is my command, that ye love one another, according as I did love you; This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.
John 15:13greater love than this hath no one, that any one his life may lay down for his friends;Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:14ye are my friends, if ye may do whatever I command you;Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.
John 15:15no more do I call you servants, because the servant hath not known what his lord doth, and you I have called friends, because all things that I heard from my Father, I did make known to you.Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn't know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you.
John 15:16`Ye did not choose out me, but I chose out you, and did appoint you, that ye might go away, and might bear fruit, and your fruit might remain, that whatever ye may ask of the Father in my name, He may give you.Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. You didn't choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
John 15:17`These things I command you, that ye love one another; These things I command you, that ye love one another. I command these things to you, that you may love one another.
John 15:18if the world doth hate you, ye know that it hath hated me before you;If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
John 15:19if of the world ye were, the world its own would have been loving, and because of the world ye are not but I chose out of the world because of this the world hateth you.If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
John 15:20`Remember the word that I said to you, A servant is not greater than his lord; if me they did persecute, you also they will persecute; if my word they did keep, yours also they will keep;Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his lord.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also.
John 15:21but all these things will they do to you, because of my name, because they have not known Him who sent me;But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. But all these things will they do to you for my name's sake, because they don't know him who sent me.
John 15:22if I had not come and spoken to them, they were not having sin; but now pretext they have not for their sin.If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
John 15:23`He who is hating me, doth hate also my Father; He that hateth me hateth my Father also. He who hates me, hates my Father also.
John 15:24if I did not do among them the works that no other hath done, they were not having sin, and now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father; If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. If I hadn't done among them the works which none other did, they wouldn't have had sin. But now have they seen and also hated both me and my Father.
John 15:25but that the word may be fulfilled that was written in their law They hated me without a cause. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. But that the word may be fulfilled that is written in their law, 'They hated me without a cause.'
John 15:26`And when the Comforter may come, whom I will send to you from the Father the Spirit of truth, who from the Father doth come forth, he will testify of me;But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
John 15:27and ye also do testify, because from the beginning ye are with me.And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. You will also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.
