Matthew 27:6And the chief priests having taken the silverlings, said, `It is not lawful to put them to the treasury, seeing it is the price of blood;`When the High Priests had gathered up the money they said, "It is illegal to put it into the Treasury, because it is the price of blood."But the chief priests having taken the pieces of silver, said: It is not lawful to put them into the corbona, because it is the price of blood.

Matthew 27:8therefore was that field called, `Field of blood,` unto this day.for which reason that piece of ground received the name, which it still bears, of `the Field of Blood.'For this cause the field was called Haceldama, that is, The field of blood, even to this day.
