| 1st-Peter 4:1 | Christ, then, having suffered for us in the flesh, ye also with the same mind arm yourselves, because he who did suffer in the flesh hath done with sin, | Forasmuch then as Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin; | Christ therefore having suffered in the flesh, be you also armed with the same thought: for he that hath suffered in the flesh, hath ceased from sins: |
| 1st-Peter 4:2 | no more in the desires of men, but in the will of God, to live the rest of the time in the flesh; | that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. | That now he may live the rest of his time in the flesh , not after the desires of men, but according to the will of God. |
