Matthew 24:1And having gone forth, Jesus departed from the temple, and his disciples came near to show him the buildings of the temple,Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.And Jesus being come out of the temple, went away. And his disciples came to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Matthew 24:2and Jesus said to them, `Do ye not see all these? verily I say to you, There may not be left here a stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down.`But he answered them, "Don't you see all of these things? Most assuredly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down."And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed.
Matthew 24:3And when he is sitting on the mount of the Olives, the disciples came near to him by himself, saying, `Tell us, when shall these be? and what [is] the sign of thy presence, and of the full end of the age?`As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?"And when he was sitting on mount Olivet, the disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the consummation of the world?
Matthew 24:4And Jesus answering said to them, `Take heed that no one may lead you astray,Jesus answered them, "Be careful that no one leads you astray.And Jesus answering, said to them: Take heed that no man seduce you:
Matthew 24:5for many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and they shall lead many astray,For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will lead many astray.For many will come in my name saying, I am Christ: and they will seduce many.
Matthew 24:6and ye shall begin to hear of wars, and reports of wars; see, be not troubled, for it behoveth all [these] to come to pass, but the end is not yet.You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Matthew 24:7`For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places;For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in places:
Matthew 24:8and all these [are] the beginning of sorrows;But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.Now all these are the beginnings of sorrows.
Matthew 24:9then they shall deliver you up to tribulation, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated by all the nations because of my name;Then they will deliver you up to oppression, and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name's sake.Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall put you to death: and you shall be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
Matthew 24:10and then shall many be stumbled, and they shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another.Then will many stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.And then shall many be scandalized: and shall betray one another: and shall hate one another.
Matthew 24:11`And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray;Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray.And many false prophets shall rise, and shall seduce many.
Matthew 24:12and because of the abounding of the lawlessness, the love of the many shall become cold;Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold.
Matthew 24:13but he who did endure to the end, he shall be saved;But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved.
Matthew 24:14and this good news of the reign shall be proclaimed in all the world, for a testimony to all the nations; and then shall the end arrive.This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.And this gospel of the kingdom, shall be preached in the whole world, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the consummation come.
Matthew 24:15`Whenever, therefore, ye may see the abomination of the desolation, that was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever is reading let him observe)When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),When therefore you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place: he that readeth let him understand.
Matthew 24:16then those in Judea let them flee to the mounts;then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.Then they that are in Judea, let them flee to the mountains:
Matthew 24:17he on the house-top let him not come down to take up any thing out of his house;Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house.And he that is on the housetop, let him not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Matthew 24:18and he in the field let him not turn back to take his garments.Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.And he that is in the field, let him not go back to take his coat.
Matthew 24:19`And wo to those with child, and to those giving suck in those days;But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days.
Matthew 24:20and pray ye that your flight may not be in winter, nor on a sabbath;Pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on a Sabbath,But pray that your flight be not in the winter, or on the sabbath.
Matthew 24:21for there shall be then great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the world till now, no, nor may be.for then will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.For there shall be then great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be.
Matthew 24:22And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would have been saved; but because of the chosen, shall those days be shortened.Except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened.And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened.
Matthew 24:23`Then if any one may say to you, Lo, here [is] the Christ! or here! ye may not believe;Then if any man will tell you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or, 'There,' don't believe it.Then if any man shall say to you: Lo here is Christ, or there, do not believe him.
Matthew 24:24for there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and they shall give great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, also the chosen.For there will arise false Christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect.
Matthew 24:25Lo, I did tell you beforehand.Behold, I have told you beforehand.Behold I have told it to you, beforehand.
Matthew 24:26`If therefore they may say to you, Lo, in the wilderness he is, ye may not go forth; lo, in the inner chambers, ye may not believe;If therefore they tell you, 'Behold, he is in the wilderness!' don't go out; 'Behold, he is in the inner chambers,' don't believe it.If therefore they shall say to you: Behold he is in the desert, go ye not out: Behold he is in the closets, believe it not.
Matthew 24:27for as the lightning doth come forth from the east, and doth appear unto the west, so shall be also the presence of the Son of Man;For as the lightning comes forth from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.For as lightning cometh out of the east, and appeareth even into the west: so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:28for wherever the carcase may be, there shall the eagles be gathered together.For wherever the carcass is, there will the vultures be gathered together.Wheresoever the body shall be, there shall the eagles also be gathered together.
Matthew 24:29`And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken;But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall be moved:
Matthew 24:30and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in the heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth smite the breast, and they shall see the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of the heaven, with power and much glory;and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all tribes of the earth mourn: and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with much power and majesty.
Matthew 24:31and he shall send his messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his chosen from the four winds, from the ends of the heavens unto the ends thereof.He will send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.And he shall send his angels with a trumpet, and a great voice: and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the farthest parts of the heavens to the utmost bounds of them.
Matthew 24:32`And from the fig-tree learn ye the simile: When already its branch may have become tender, and the leaves it may put forth, ye know that summer [is] nigh,"Now from the fig tree learn her parable. When its branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near.And from the fig tree learn a parable: When the branch thereof is now tender, and the leaves come forth, you know that summer is nigh.
Matthew 24:33so also ye, when ye may see all these, ye know that it is nigh at the doors.Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.So you also, when you shall see all these things, know ye that it is nigh, even at the doors.
Matthew 24:34Verily I say to you, this generation may not pass away till all these may come to pass.Most assuredly I tell you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.Amen I say to you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
Matthew 24:35The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass.
Matthew 24:36`And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known not even the messengers of the heavens except my Father only;But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.But of that day and hour no one knoweth, not the angels of heaven, but the Father alone.
Matthew 24:37and as the days of Noah so shall be also the presence of the Son of Man;As the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.And as in the days of Noe, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:38for as they were, in the days before the flood, eating, and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, till the day Noah entered into the ark,For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, even till that day in which Noe entered into the ark,
Matthew 24:39and they did not know till the flood came and took all away; so shall be also the presence of the Son of Man.and they didn't know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.And they knew not till the flood came, and took them all away; so also shall the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:40Then two men shall be in the field, the one is received, and the one is left;Then will two men be in the field: one is taken, and one is left;Then two shall be in the field: one shall be taken, and one shall be left.
Matthew 24:41two women shall be grinding in the mill, one is received, and one is left.two women grinding at the mill, one is taken, and one is left.Two women shall be grinding at the mill: one shall be taken, and one shall be left.
Matthew 24:42`Watch ye therefore, because ye have not known in what hour your Lord doth come;Watch therefore, for you don't know in what hour your Lord comes.Watch ye therefore, because ye know not what hour your Lord will come.
Matthew 24:43and this know, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief doth come, he had watched, and not suffered his house to be broken through;But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.But know this ye, that if the goodman of the house knew at what hour the thief would come, he would certainly watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken open.
Matthew 24:44because of this also ye, become ye ready, because in what hour ye do not think, the Son of Man doth come.Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don't expect, the Son of Man will come.Wherefore be you also ready, because at what hour you know not the Son of man will come.
Matthew 24:45`Who, then, is the servant, faithful and wise, whom his lord did set over his household, to give them the nourishment in season?Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season?Who, thinkest thou, is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath appointed over his family, to give them meat in season.
Matthew 24:46Happy that servant, whom his lord, having come, shall find doing so;Blessed is that servant, whom his lord will find doing so when he comes.Blessed is that servant, whom when his lord shall come he shall find so doing.
Matthew 24:47verily I say to you, that over all his substance he will set him.Most assuredly I tell you, that he will set him over all that he has.Amen I say to you, he shall place him over all his goods.
Matthew 24:48`And, if that evil servant may say in his heart, My Lord doth delay to come,But if that evil servant should say in his heart, 'My lord is delaying his coming,'But if that evil servant shall say in his heart: My lord is long a coming:
Matthew 24:49and may begin to beat the fellow-servants, and to eat and to drink with the drunken,and began to beat his fellow-servants, and eat and drink with the drunken,And shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and shall eat and drink with drunkards:
Matthew 24:50the lord of that servant will arrive in a day when he doth not expect, and in an hour of which he doth not know,the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn't expect it, and in an hour when he doesn't know it,The lord of that servant shall come in a day that he hopeth not, and at an hour that he knoweth not:
Matthew 24:51and will cut him off, and his portion with the hypocrites will appoint; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.and will cut him in pieces, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.And shall separate him, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
