Titus 2:4that they may make the young women sober-minded, to be lovers of [their] husbands, lovers of [their] children,that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,That they may teach the young women to be wise, to love their husbands, to love their children,
Titus 2:5sober, pure, keepers of [their own] houses, good, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be evil spoken of.to be sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God's word may not be blasphemed.To be discreet, chaste, sober, having a care of the house, gentle, obedient to their husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:6The younger men, in like manner, be exhorting to be sober-minded;Likewise, exhort the younger men to be sober-minded;Young men, in like manner, exhort that they be sober.
Titus 2:7concerning all things thyself showing a pattern of good works; in the teaching uncorruptedness, gravity, incorruptibility,in all things showing yourself an example of good works; in your teaching showing integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility,In all things shew thyself an example of good works, in doctrine, in integrity, in gravity,
Titus 2:8discourse sound, irreprehensible, that he who is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say concerning you.and soundness of speech that can't be condemned; that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.The sound word that can not be blamed: that he, who is on the contrary part, may be afraid, having no evil to say of us.
Titus 2:9Servants to their own masters [are] to be subject, in all things to be well-pleasing, not gainsaying,Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well-pleasing in all things; not contradicting;Exhort servants to be obedient to their masters, in all things pleasing, not gainsaying:
Titus 2:10not purloining, but showing all good stedfastness, that the teaching of God our Saviour they may adorn in all things.not stealing, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.Not defrauding, but in all things shewing good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things:
Titus 2:11For the saving grace of God was manifested to all men,For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,For the grace of God our Savior hath appeared to all men;
Titus 2:12teaching us, that denying the impiety and the worldly desires, soberly and righteously and piously we may live in the present age,instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;Instructing us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and justly, and godly in this world,
Titus 2:13waiting for the blessed hope and manifestation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ,looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ;Looking for the blessed hope and coming of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ,
Titus 2:14who did give himself for us, that he might ransom us from all lawlessness, and might purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works;who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and might cleanse to himself a people acceptable, a pursuer of good works.
Titus 2:15these things be speaking, and exhorting, and convicting, with all charge; let no one despise thee!Say these things and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise you.These things speak, and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
