Mark 13:1 | And as he is going forth out of the temple, one of his disciples saith to him, `Teacher, see! what stones! and what buildings!` | As he went forth out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, "Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!" | And as he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples saith to him, Master, see what manner of stones, and what buildings are here! |
Mark 13:2 | and Jesus answering said to him, `Seest thou these great buildings? there may not be left a stone upon a stone, that may not be thrown down.` | Jesus said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone on another, which will not be thrown down." | And Jesus answering said to him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. |
Mark 13:3 | And as he is sitting at the mount of the Olives, over-against the temple, Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, were questioning him by himself, | As he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately, | And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, over against the temple, Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, asked him privately, |
Mark 13:4 | `Tell us when these things shall be? and what [is] the sign when all these may be about to be fulfilled?` | "Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are all about to be accomplished?" | Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? |
Mark 13:5 | And Jesus answering them, began to say, `Take heed lest any one may lead you astray, | Jesus, answering, began to tell them, "Be careful that no one leads you astray. | And Jesus answering them, began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: |
Mark 13:6 | for many shall come in my name, saying I am [he], and many they shall lead astray; | For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he!' and will lead many astray. | For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and will deceive many. |
Mark 13:7 | and when ye may hear of wars and reports of wars, be not troubled, for these behove to be, but the end [is] not yet; | When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don't be troubled. For those must happen, but the end is not yet. | And when ye shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end will not be yet. |
Mark 13:8 | for nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles; beginnings of sorrows [are] these. | For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places. There will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginning of birth pains. | For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be earthquakes in divers places, and there will be famines, and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. |
Mark 13:9 | `And take ye heed to yourselves, for they shall deliver you up to sanhedrims, and to synagogues, ye shall be beaten, and before governors and kings ye shall be set for my sake, for a testimony to them; | But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. Before governors and kings will you stand for my sake, for a testimony to them. | But take heed to yourselves: for they will deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye will be beaten: and ye will be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. |
Mark 13:10 | and to all the nations it behoveth first that the good news be proclaimed. | The gospel must first be preached to all the nations. | And the gospel must first be published among all nations. |
Mark 13:11 | `And when they may lead you, delivering up, be not anxious beforehand what ye may speak, nor premeditate, but whatever may be given to you in that hour, that speak ye, for it is not ye who are speaking, but the Holy Spirit. | When they lead you away and deliver you up, don't be anxious beforehand, or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. | But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit. |
Mark 13:12 | `And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and father child, and children shall rise up against parents, and shall put them to death, | "Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. | Now the brother will betray the brother to death, and the father the son: and children will rise up against their parents, and will cause them to be put to death. |
Mark 13:13 | and ye shall be hated by all because of my name, but he who hath endured to the end he shall be saved. | You will be hated by all men for my name's sake, but he who endures to the end, the same will be saved. | And ye will be hated by all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved. |
Mark 13:14 | `And when ye may see the abomination of the desolation, that was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (whoever is reading let him understand), then those in Judea, let them flee to the mountains; | But when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, | But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand) then let them that are in Judea flee to the mountains: |
Mark 13:15 | and he upon the house-top, let him not come down to the house, nor come in to take anything out of his house; | and let him who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house. | And let him that is on the house-top not go down into the house, neither enter it, to take any thing out of his house: |
Mark 13:16 | and he who is in the field, let him not turn to the things behind, to take up his garment. | Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak. | And let him that is in the field not turn back again to take up his garment. |
Mark 13:17 | `And wo to those with child, and to those giving suck, in those days; | But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days! | But woe to them that are with child, and to them that nurse infants in those days. |
Mark 13:18 | and pray ye that your flight may not be in winter, | Pray that your flight won't be in the winter. | And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. |
Mark 13:19 | for those days shall be tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the creation that God created, till now, and may not be; | For in those days there will be oppression, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be. | For in those days shall be affliction, such as hath not been from the beginning of the creation which God created to this time, neither shall be. |
Mark 13:20 | and if the Lord did not shorten the days, no flesh had been saved; but because of the chosen, whom He did choose to Himself, He did shorten the days. | Unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the elect's sake, whom he chose, he shortened the days. | And except the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. |
Mark 13:21 | `And then, if any may say to you, Lo, here [is] the Christ, or, Lo, there, ye may not believe; | Then if anyone tells you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'Look, there!' don't believe it. | And then, if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or lo, he is there; believe him not. |
Mark 13:22 | for there shall rise false Christs and false prophets, and they shall give signs and wonders, to seduce, if possible, also the chosen; | For there will arise false christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, also the elect. | For false Christs, and false prophets will rise, and will show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. |
Mark 13:23 | and ye, take heed; lo, I have foretold you all things. | But you watch. "Behold, I have told you all things beforehand. | But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. |

When the branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near; | Now learn a parable of the fig-tree: When its branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: |
Mark 13:29 | so ye, also, when these ye may see coming to pass, ye know that it is nigh, at the doors. | even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors. | So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. |
Mark 13:30 | Verily I say to you, that this generation may not pass away till all these things may come to pass; | Most assuredly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things are accomplished. | Verily I say to you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things shall be done. |

Mark 13:32 | `And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son except the Father. | But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but only the Father. | But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. |
Mark 13:33 | Take heed, watch and pray, for ye have not known when the time is; | Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you don't know when the time is. | Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. |

Mark 13:36 | lest, having come suddenly, he may find you sleeping; | lest coming suddenly he might find you sleeping. | Lest coming suddenly, he should find you sleeping. |
